No-Li Brewhouse (Spokane, WA) - On the eve of its Colorado launch, No-Li Brewhouse installed a new sign in front of their brewery, marking a new era as the brewery ships its first beer east out of state to the Rocky Mountains. No-Li Brewhouse is a local Spokane brewer that will deliver their Pacific Northwest craft beer to Denver with a launch event at the Falling Rock Tap House in LoDo on Friday beginning at 5 pm. No-Li produces 22-ounce bottles as well as draft brands in four styles including its newest, Jet Star Imperial IPA. Other styles are: Silent Treatment Pale, Born & Raised IPA and Crystal Bitter. The company plans to continue its East Coast expansion later this fall to Brooklyn, NY, Washington, D.C., and Maryland. For more information, visit

Elk Mountain Brewing (Parker) - It's their 3rd Annual Elktoberfest on Saturday, September 22nd. Elk Mountain will be offering Free Bratwurst at 12noon. Then at 2pm - they will have live music with acoustic guitarist Warren Floyd, and at 6pm there will be the Masskrugstemmen competition! What is MassKrug? - you will holding a liter of beer straight out equal to the floor to see who can hold it the longest. Winner will receive a prize! Liter Mass mugs will be available for purchase as a souviner and of course to drink your favorite beer in. Come join the fun, food, entertainment and Competition! Hops & Pie (Denver) - The list of GABF week activities is growing and Hops & Pie has released a list of special tappings for that week. For warm ups, on October 5th they'll offer up a firkin of Dry Dock Brewing's Whiskey Oaked Wee Heavy Strong Scotch Ale at 6pm. Then on Sunday, October 7th, it's the Littlest Big Beer Fest featuring Great Divide. There you can sample a 2008 Old Ruffian, a 2010 Hibernation, some Espresso Oak Aged Yeti, the Grand Cru, an Altbeir, and their Fresh Hop Ale.

Then on Tuesday, October 9th, Cigar City Brewing from Florida drops by Hops & Pie with some special kegs including: Jai Alai IPA, Maduro Brown Ale, a Raspberry Saison, Cubano Espresso, and a Peach IPA., and finally on Friday October 12th Sun King Brewery gets the spotlight with kegs of Osiris Pale Ale, The Velvet Fog, Cream Dream V: I Thought We Were Buddies, a Barrel-aged Oktoberfest, Grapefruit Jungle, Sunlight Cream Ale, and Pink Taco! Plus all during GABF week, they'll be tapping dozens of specialty kegs from local and national craft brewers. Something for every craft beer lovers taste. Vine Street Pub & Brewery (Denver) - The Second-Annual Vine Street Block Party and Brewer's Olympics is finally here! Join in this Saturday, September 15th at 1pm at the Vine Street Pub in Denver for the Second-Annual Vine Street Uptown Block Party and Brewer's Olympics. Featuring Free live music: Keith Moseley from the String Cheese Incident, Scott Law, National Flat Pick Champ Tyler Grant, and very special guests. Beginning at 1pm, 12 Front Range Breweries and one Mountain Sun Customer Team will compete for gold and a year's worth of bragging rights. Once the games are finished, the medal ceremony will take place on the stage at the corner of Vine Street and 17th. Following the medal ceremony, Keith Moseley and Friends will play two 90-minute sets of smokin' bluegrass and beyond! Each participating brewery is donating three special brews to contribute to the Best Beer Garden on the Front Range. There will be more than 35 styles of beer poured throughout the day.

Black Bottle Brewery (Ft. Collins) - As opening day gets closer, more and more details of their business are starting to come out. Today they dropped a hint that their "Blacklist" Membership and a Contest details will be coming out next week. Get ready Fort Collins as once this brewery opens, things will never be the same when it comes to craft beer.

Parry's Pizza (Castle Rock) - For those of you in Castle Rock, Parry's Pizza is still busy working on installing their new 40 tap system, but in the mean time, they are having a Breckenridge Brewery Pint Night tonight from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Breck will be on site handing out free pint glasses when you buy one of their beers (while supplies last). Get there early to get one of those glasses.

Fight Fire with Beer Festival (Boulder) - Tomorrow, September 15th from noon to 11:00pm on Boulder's 29th Street Mall - The inaugural Firefighter Appreciation Week will culminate with the Fight Fire With Beer Festival. Enjoy some of the Colorado's best craft beer, food and music at the 29th Street Mall in Boulder. This is a family friendly festival. Firefighters from around the state will be encouraged to turn out in force to meet residents of Colorado who want to say thank you. Proceeds to benefit the Colorado Fire Relief Fund. There will be plenty of food, live music and great craft beer from 10 Colorado breweries. Interact with firefighters and their equipment. More info at:

Highland Tap & Burger (Denver) - Today is the final day of their 2nd Anniversary Week celebration. Enjoy 50% off Draft Beers from 3:00pm to 6:00pm today. (A bonus for reading this early).

The Fort Collins Brewery (Ft. Collins) - Are you ready for this? Released today in their Tasting Room - Double Chocolate Coffee Stout (DCCS) and in honor of this, their pastry Chef, Rochelle, at Gravity Ten Twenty at Fort Collins Brewery made a DCCS Cheesecake to boot! Better get in here before the employees eat it all! DCCS is a jet black imperial stout that has an intense aroma of coffee and cocoa. This is billed as one of their most decadent brews.

Oktoberfest in Colorado (Annual List) - The harvests are coming in, the weather is starting to cool, and towns and communities in Colorado are planning their Oktoberfests! The first celebrations have already begun and the 2012 Colorado Oktoberfest page has compiled a list of over 30 communities in the Centennial state that have Oktoberfest or harvest festivals planned. Check it out and visit one of more of these activites. Festivals run from late August through early October.
