Colorado Beer NewsToday is The Last Full Day of Summer. The days of blazing hot weather are behind us and the cooler and less light filled days are ahead of us. Palisade Brewing Company (Palisade) - Hey Dirty Hippie People! (Their words not mine) - No Outlet is playing live music tonight from 7:00pm to 10:00pm as always. Then on Wednesday, September 26th, they are having a tie dye party that starts at 4:20pm. You bring a shirt in and they got you covered on the rest so you can create your own tie dye shirt. Oh ya, don't forget, they also make and serve their own beer there.

Big Beaver Brewing (Loveland) - Stop by the taproom today as Big Beaver is announcing a new release today: Stroke A Strip Saison. Ask for a free sample before you buy.

West Flanders Brewery (Boulder) - Today is the day! They're doing a soft opening today at Boulder's newest brewery. They will have at least 2 beers available: Angry Monk and the Daisy Cutter. Both full of yummy Belgian funk! They are hosting a private Dinner Party at 5:00pm tonight and will host an official opening on Sunday night. The brewery is located in the old BJ's Restaurant at 1125 Pearl Street in Boulder, CO.

StevetoberfestPateros Creek Brewing Co (Fort Collins) - Tomorrow, September 22nd, at the brewery is the 7th Annual Stevetoberfest celebration. The first 5 celebrations took place at the owner's back yard, but the last two have been at the brewery. Come celebrate the harvest season with beer, music, food and fun. Anyone with a name like Steve, Stephen, Stephanie, etc will also get their first beer free (with ID). Wear your best German drinking outfit if you've got one. The party runs from 12pm to 9pm. Located at: 242 N. College Ave, in Old Town Fort Collins, CO. They will also be debuting their latest Fourteeners Series beer there called: La Plata Peak, an IPA.

Paradox Beer Company (Woodland Park) - Their bottles are ready and they are now being delivered to local liquors stores around their area. Three of their project beers have been packaged and will now be available starting today. At 4:30pm to 6:00pm at Gold Hill Liquors in Woodland Park, CO you can be among the first to taste some of their beers. Each bottle is hand numbered with a unique number along with the batch number. Their beers include: Project Candid Kaiser (barrel aged APA blended with two different Amber Saisons), Project Bandeau Artiste Trip (a blended Belgian style Golden Ale, a Peche Lambic and a Farmhouse style Saison), and Project Paradise Nines (an American-Belgian IPA). All of these are barrel-aged beers. Look for them around the Colorado Springs, Trinidad areas or at their retail shop in Woodland Park.

Equinox Brewing (Fort Collins) - Tomorrow, September 22nd, the Autumnal Equinox, they'll be celebrating with music and a beer release. Come try their Autumnal Marzen and settle back and listen to Gypsy Moon in the Beer Garden from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Tommyknocker Brewery (Idaho Springs) - There's still a chance to win a pair of tickets to the 2012 GABF from Tommyknocker. Either go to their website and enter or head up to their brewery and buy a six-pack and get an entry. Hint: better odds of winning up at the brewery as they are giving away more pairs of tickets there. Winners will be drawn on October 5th. 1st winner at the brewery must be present at the drawing to win. The second winner there need not be present. They are located at: 1401 Miners Street in Idaho Springs, CO - just off I-70.

Odell Brewing (Fort Collins) - The 6th in their Woodcut oak-aged series of beers will be released in a celebration on October 6th at the brewery. This beer is an American Ale that has been aging in oak barrels for several month and features an experimental hop called Mosaic hops. Read all about this in their Press Release issued earlier today.

Ska Brewing Company (Durango) - There will be an Autumnal Mole Stout Release DENVER PUB CRAWL tonight! Join @SkaBrewEric at the following time/spots: Cheba Hut 6pm, Paramount Cafe 7:30pm, Freshcraft 9pm and Star Bar 10:30pm. Celebrate the Fall Equinox and dry this 1st in a new series of equinox/solstice stout beers from Ska Brewing. Denver is proud to be part of this celebration!

My Favorite Bands Festival (Greeley) - Special late addition to this weekend events - come up to downtown Greeley tonight from 6-9pm, grab your GO CUP and listen to a free concert of band impersonators. Tonight listen to Johnny Cash (J. Luke & The Drifters), Joe Walsh (The Oman Band), and Bruce Springsteeen (Turn 4) doing the best songs on stage. Then get your tickets for Saturday ($5) and come back from 1pm to 10pm for 11 more bands doing music from Frank Sinatra, Blind Mellon, Journey, The Grateful Dead, The Band, Heart, Jeff Beck, Bob Marley, Marle Haggard, Edgar Winter, and The Wedding Singer. All this happens in Lincoln Park in downtown Greeley. GO CUPS sold at downtown businesses and you can drink while you listen (Friday only). info at:

Oktoberfest in Colorado (Annual List) - The harvests are coming in, the weather is starting to cool, and towns and communities in Colorado are celebrating Oktoberfest! The 2012 Colorado Oktoberfest page has compiled a list of over 30+ communities in the Centennial state that have Oktoberfest or harvest festivals planned. Festivals run from late August through early October.
