Yak & Yeti (Arvada) - When is a cider NOT a cider? When it's actually an ale! The brewmaster at Yak and Yeti has come up with a fresh batch of gluten-free Apple Ale and it's just been tapped today. It's billed as being very crisp and refreshing. Tell all your gluten-free friends to stop in and try it.

Lone Tree Brewing (Lone Tree) - Early this morning, Lone Tree Brewing took delivery of 4 new 20 barrel serving tanks. Expect to see a lot more beer on hand in the days after they are installed.

Boulder Beer Company (Boulder) - Boulder Beer Week starts tonight, with a wet-hopped firkin of what they're calling "Patio-Track." Their cask beer specialist Chris Coyne pulled some fresh Singletrack Copper Ale off a cellaring batch, and wet-hopped it with some hops freshly picked from Boulder Beer's own patio crop. Served cask-style and poured through their beer engine, this will surely be a naturally carbonated, full flavored, aromatic pleasure!

Fort Collins Brewery Halloween PartyThe Fort Collins Brewery (Ft. Collins) - Get ready to party and experience something fun! The Fort Collins Brewery Halloween Party is set for October 31st from 4-9pm! There will be Carnival Games, Live Music, Gravity Ten Twenty at Fort Collins Brewery FOOD, and a Costume Contest at 7pm with great prizes including a FCB Themed costume as well! Kid friendly and lots of fun! Located at: 1020 E. Lincoln Avenue in Fort Collins, CO.

Beer Label Approvals (Colorado) - The feds recently gave approval for the following beer labels. Look for these coming in the weeks and months to come: Paradox Candid Kaiser Project Wine Barrel-aged Pale Ale, Blue Moon Pine in the Neck Double IPA, Blue Moon Tongue Thai-ed Ale, Blue Moon Valencia Grove Amber Ale, Breckenridge Brewery Porter's Pride Imperial Porter, Elevation Downpour Double India Red Ale, Eddyline Mountain Fairy Raspberry Wheat, and Elevation Oil Man Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout.

Pub 17 on Welton Street (Denver) - On October 11th from 9pm to midnight - Join both Left Hand and Ska Brewing Companies as they take over the taps at Pub 17 inside the Grand Hyatt Denver. There’ll be plenty of fun and eclectic beers to choose from along with the chance to try some of Pub 17′s amazing food! Just a very short walk from the GABF!

Paramount Cafe (Denver) - Speaking of GABF week events, there will be the annual Beer Festival at Paramount Cafe happening on Wednesday, October 10th from 6pm to 9pm. The cost is $15 to try some of your favorite beers from some of your favorite Colorado breweries. Proceeds from this event will assist the Denver Children's Home. paramount Cafe is located at: 519 16th Street in Denver, CO.

Arvada Beer Company (Arvada) - ‎Their 59'er is back on tap today, their Dark German Lager. Go give it a try. This Saturday from 12pm to 2pm the Colorado Craft Beer Show will be broadcasting live from the tasting room. They will also have some GABF tickets to give away. You must be there in person to win. It is always a fun time when Turk and the Gubna are in the house doing their show. Come join the fun, and get a chance to win tickets to the sold out Great American Beer Festival.

Oktoberfest in Colorado (Annual List) - The harvests are coming in, the weather is starting to cool, and towns and communities in Colorado are celebrating Oktoberfest! The 2012 Colorado Oktoberfest page has compiled a list of over 30+ communities in the Centennial state that have Oktoberfest or harvest festivals planned. Festivals run from late August through early October.
