Avery Brewing (Boulder) - This Friday at 5pm, Avery will tap Old Jubilation at their Tap Room! They're celebrating the return of their winter seasonal (yes already) with a Tacky Sweaty Sweater contest - This year, the sweater that gets the best crowd cheer takes home a case of Old Jubilation!

World Brewers Forum (Denver) - KROC (Keg Ran Out Club) proudly presents the 18th Annual World Brewers Forum to be held at the Denver Marriott, 1701 California Street in Denver, CO on Thursday, October 11th from 8pm to 12am. If you're not attending the GABF that night, then check this out. Speakers from Stone Brewing, No-Li Brewhouse and others will be on hand to talk up our favorite subject - BEER! There will also be 18+ unique homebrews on tap, a drawing for free stuff and a silent auction benefiting the Children's Hospital of Denver. Free to attend, but please RSVP to wbf@kroc.org.

Denver Beer Fest (Denver) - The 2012 Denver Beer Fest is about to kick off in October and Visit Denver and Denver Beer Company have put together a short 94 second video describing what's coming up.


Bike Prom (Fort Collins) - Need another alternative to the GABF? Bike Prom is back on Saturday October 13th - this time with a twist! You have all day Saturday to pedal your way through a unique self-guided scavenger hunt through local Fort Collins watering holes. Show up to prom with your scavenger hunt card and get entered into the midnight drawing for awesome bike & beer prizes. Stop by the Bike Library (in Old Town Square) during open hours on Saturday the 13th to purchase tickets and receive your scavenger hunt clues. This is not your high school prom, but you should probably dress like it is. Alter-egos encouraged. Hot bikes very much encouraged. One free beer per person while supplies last. Music by Drifter, Fort Collin's most FUNK'd up DJ! Get your prom photos taken at our quintessential prom photo corner. Prom Court Sponsors include: Cranknstein, Fort Collins Brewery and Funkwerks. Tickets are $15 in advance or at the door. Proceeds go toward sustaining the Fort Collins Bike Library.

Parry's Pizza & Bar (Highlands Ranch) - Your GABF week just got busier! Parry's Pizza is planning several special tappings and events during the upcoming GABF week. Check out this upcoming list:
- Monday, October 8th - Avery Brewing will be pouring their Lilikoi Kepolo (White Rascal infused with Passion Fruit).
- Tuesday, October 9th - Reps from Odell Brewing, Anderson Valley, Saranac, Uinta and Rogue will be handing out beer samples and sharing their knowledge for FREE! Try Odell's The Meddler and Isolation, Anderson Valley's Brother David's Trippel, Saranac's Pumpkin Ale, Uinta's Black Labyrinth, Rogue's Oregasmic Ale, and a special announcement from New Belgium.
- Wednesday, October 10th - It's a Great Divide Tap Takeover including 5 different Yetis on tap.
- Saturday, October 13th - Come try GABF award winning Sun King Brewery's two special tappings.

Great Divide Brewing Co (Denver) - Another wave of seasonals is about to be released at Great Divide in Denver. On October 1st you can welcome back three Great Divide beers including: Hibernation, Fresh Hop and their Oak Aged Yeti. Betcha can't wait eh? In a recent press release, Great Divide announced that their production has increased 34% through August 2012 over the same period last year.

Grimm Brothers Farmers DaughterGrimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) - Grimm Brothers Brewing of Loveland Colorado will celebrate Loveland's Oktoberfest September 29th from 11am to close. Continuing their ongoing commitment to local non-profits the event will be supporting Loveland based Colorado Youth Outdoors. The event will include the release of the Farmers Daughter Oktoberfest style beer, food, music, and contests for young and old alike. Wendy Woo will take the stage at 2pm, and the Celtic punk band Stubby Shillelaghs will be starting at 5pm. Food will be provided by Cramer's Handmade Bread of Loveland, Abalze mobile wood fired pizzaria, and The Daily Dawg. Grimm Brothers is located at 623 N Denver Ave in Loveland. This event is open to all ages.

Prost Brewing (Denver) - This week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday Prost Brewing brings a slice of Munich to Denver with their inaugural Oktoberfest celebration. In keeping with tradition, the folks at Prost are honored to have Denver's Mayor Michael B. Hancock tap the first keg of Prost Maerzen to start the party. Come down on Friday at noon, and enjoy the beautiful Colorado weather in their biergarten.

Yak & Yeti Brewpub (Arvada) - New Beer Release! Today at Yak & Yeti their tapping a new beer called Dragon's Wort Ale. It's a Belgian-style behemoth that weighs in at 8.5% ABV. It's got Dragon's Wort spice in it. This beer is big and bold and goes over the top with flavor. Stop in to try one today if you dare. Better bring your sword.
