Crystal Springs Brewing (Boulder) - More and more people are discovering the great beer that Crystal Springs is putting out. They went through two full kegs at the Steamboat Springs OktoberWest fest last weekend. This weekend, they will be pouring a special brew at the 33rd Annual Boulder Beer Rave. Taste their latest rare offering called DRUM - a rum barrel aged porter. Also, the brewery is getting closer to having a new home where they can brew more beer and have a tasting room. Stay tuned for updates on that.

Mountain Madness Brewing Company (Durango) - This brewery in the making in Durango is seeking an experienced professional brewer to help create, run, and grow their small brew operation. They are seeking a brewer who is looking for a long-term position with unlimited growth potential while fulfilling their passion for brewing. Mountain Madness been in business for a year as a pub and are now ready to take the next step building their brewery. Choice City Butcher & Deli (Fort Collins) - Stop by the deli tonight around 5:00pm. They will be tapping a firkin of dry hopped Dales Pale Ale. Located at: 104 W. Olive in Ft. Collins, CO. They've also got 37 specialty beers on tap.

Hops and Pie Birthday FestivalHops & Pie (Denver) - Don't forget that this Saturday, September 29th starting at noon Hops & Pie will be celebrating their Birthday with a festival of Avery Beer Awesomeness. Over 16 different Avery Brewing beers will be tapped including some rare and vintage brews. Hops & Pie will be giving away a Firestone Walker IV Anniversary bomber, a pair of GABF tickets for the Thursday nite session, 2 Beer Club memberships, Glassware, T-Shirts, Gift Certificates and more. Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery (Boulder) - Do yo like Stouts and Porters? It's dark beer season and Mountain Sun has a variety of them on tap today including: Oatimus Prime Imperial Oatmeal Stout, Oatlord Oatmeal Stout, Trickster Stout, Belgo-Java American-Belgo Coffee Porter, Nitro Old School Stout, and Java Porter. That plus over a dozen more styles on tap.

Beer Fact (Colorado) - On this day back in 1933 (79 years ago), Colorado ratified the 21st amendment repealing prohibition! Cheers to that!

Dillon Dam Brewery (Dillon) - Come up to Dillon on Wednesday, October 5th from 5-8pm for a special Benefit Party for Miracle House ( Admission is $15 and includes one complimentary beverage, and a food buffet. There will also be a silent auction to benefit Miracle House International Children's Homes.

Oskar Blues Party TicketOskar Blues (Longmont) - Here's your ticket. Print off this image and you'll get into a special Launch & GABF After Party at the Blake Street Tavern (2301 Blake Street) on Thursday, October 11th at 9:30pm. Oskar Blues will be doing a special launch of one of their favorite beers in a new package. Listen to live music by Halden Wofford & The Hi Beams. There will be big giveaways and some big badass brews available. Also limited transportation will be provided from the GABF to the Party from 9-11pm just outside the convention center. The Mayor of Old Town (Ft. Collins) - Thursday night is Acoustic/Vocal Open Mic Night. Steve Ertle and some friends will be guest artists this week and take the stage at 8pm. Sign up starts at 6pm and start at 7pm. Listen in and try one of their 100 beers on tap.

Black Shirt Brewing (Denver) - One of Denver's newest breweries is throwing another party! This time in their back yard and they are pouring a wet-hopped Red Ale that was made with Voss Farms Colorado Centennial and Willamette hops. These hops came off the bine in the morning and were in the beer by the afternoon! The wet hop party runs on Saturday, September 29th from 5-8pm. Located at 3719 Walnut Street in Denver, CO.

Steamworks Firkin FridaySteamworks Brewing Co (Durango) - Next Firkin Friday happens on October 5th at 3pm - "Jim and Ginger". Fresh minced ginger and a Jim Beam (bourbon) soaked oak spiral has been added to the base blend of Lizard Head Red Ale and apple cider. The result should taste like it’s been oak-aged, and be a spicy twist on the typical hard cider. Get $1 Draws and $2 tankers.

Oktoberfest in Colorado (Annual List) - The harvests are coming in, the weather is starting to cool, and towns and communities in Colorado are celebrating Oktoberfest! The 2012 Colorado Oktoberfest page has compiled a list of over 30+ communities in the Centennial state that have Oktoberfest or harvest festivals planned. Festivals run from late August through early October.
