Yak & Yeti (Arvada) - Recently, brewer Adam Draeger, got together with homebrewer Scott Jackson and came up with another collaboration beer. Coming this Wednesday, October 3rd at 4pm, they will unveil their Saison Automne, an imperial Saison made with specialty malts and dark candy sugar. This monster weighs in at 9.6% so bring a designated driver! This batch is in a small quantity so get to the Yak & Yeti in Arvada soon to try this. But that's not all! On Wednesday, October 10th come on back as they tap their Munich Cherry, a beer with only Munich malt and lots of tart cherries.

Pateros Creek Brewing Co (Fort Collins) - Holy release schedule Batman! Pateros Creek is going nuts with their upcoming beer releases. In honor of GABF Week (Saturday October 6th through Saturday October 13th) they will be releasing 8 Beers in 8 Days including some returning favorites. Oct. 6th: Owl Canyon - pumpkin ale, Oct. 7th: Pichi Hime - peaches and cream porter, Oct. 8th: Snowy River - Vanilla Porter, Oct. 9th: Mt. Massive - imperial IPA, Oct. 10th: Conundrum Porter - bourbon coffee vanilla, Oct. 11th: Sunlight Peak - session IPA, Oct. 12th - Stone Giant - oatmeal raisin stout, and Oct. 13th: Hopped Up Owl - dry hopped pumpkin ale. Most releases are at 2pm each day, except Oct. 7th (3pm).

Parry's Pizza & Bar (Highlands Ranch) - GABF Week just got busier as Parry's is planning to host 5 separate events from October 5th through October 13th. Starting out on October 5th - it's Great Divide Pint Night at 5:30pm. Buy a GD beer and keep the glass. On October 8th, it's an Avery Brewing Special Pouring of Lilikoi Kepolo at 6pm (White Rascal variation). Then on October 9th, it's a night of Past GABF Medal Winning Breweries at 6pm. Reps from Odell, Anderson Valley, Saranac, Uinta and Rogue will be handing out free samples and sharing their knowledge. On October 10th, it's a Great Divide Tap Takeover all day. More than a dozen GD beers including several Yeti variations. Finally, on October 13th, it's a Sun King Brewery (Indiana) special pours all day. Two of their finest beers on tap. 10 Days Until GABF!!

Strange Brewing Co (Denver) - Attention Ladies! Coming up on Saturday, October 6th at 1pm the Hopped Up Dames (Ladies Beer Club) will be celebrating their 2 year anniversary and gathering for a tasting session at Strange Brewing. Ladies come join them! Also, the Colorado Craft Beer Show will be doing a live radio broadcast from 12pm to 2pm to kick-off Colorado Beer Week.

Pikes Peak Brewing Co (Monument) - Get ready! Monument Beer Week is coming - October 20th to October 27th. Pikes Peak Brewing is hosting and sponsoring several events that week including a beer dinner at Rudy's Roadhouse on Oct. 20th, the Barrel-Aged Fest on Oct. 22nd, a Ladies Only Beer & Dessert Pairing on Oct. 23rd, a Brewer's Dinner at Oakley's on Oct. 24th, a Paradox Brewing Event with guest taps on Oct. 25th, a Meet The Brewers of the Front Range event on Oct. 26th, and wrapping up with a big Oktoberfest Meal on Oct. 27th. Tap and Handle (Fort Collins) - with over 70+ beers on tap you know they're planning something special for GABF week. Coming up Next week they have several special events planned including: Oct. 8th 5pm - Great Divide Yeti Sighting - come taste every single version of GD's Imperial Yeti Stout. Then at 6pm, it's Avery pint night - grab an Avery and keep the glass, then at 7pm it's Grant Teton Brewing's Take Four - tapping four special brews from this Idaho Brewery. Then on Tuesday, October 9th at 5pm, it's the Upslope Brewing Happy Hour with special tappings and free Upslope swag, followed at 7pm for a Victory Brewing Tapover - Victory chose Ft. Collins to kick off their GABF week and will take over 8 tap handles including some rare never in CO beers. Then on Wednesday, Oct. 10th at 7pm it's a New Belgium Tapover - 15+ Lips of Faith brews on tap! Then stop back on Thursday night at 8pm for a Super Super secret beer tapping (they won't say what). It will NOT disappoint!

Crabtree Brewing (Greeley) - Got this news directly from Jeff Crabtree himself at the Greeley Oktoberfest this last weekend. Things are going well on their 2-phase brewery move from their original location on 3rd Street to the new place on 29th Street. They are planning to finish moving their brewhouse over to the new location by the end of this year. One thing that's not moving is their old 12oz bottling line. That behemoth is being sold off and they will move to packaging all of their regular beers in cans! Yup, every single one of their flagship beers will be in cans by 2013. They still plan to put out the occasional bomber and 750ml corked bottles for special releases, but the rest will be in either 12oz or 16oz cans! Crabtree will still work directly with Mobile Canning LLC for their canning operations. Crabtree also plans to put out a variety canned 12 pack and put their Chunkin Pumpkin Ale in a can for next year.

Oskar Blues (Longmont) - Oskar Blues just keeps expanding their distribution. Recently, they expanded into Illinois and the Chicago area. Now they just announced that they are planning to open up Ohio and Kentucky into distribution as well. All this on the heals of announcing their 2nd brewery in North Carolina which will be starting production by the end of 2013. Soon Oskar Blues beer will be practically everywhere! (They can hope anyway).

Lone Tree Brewing Co (Lone Tree) - October is Breast Cancer month and Lone Tree will be donating a portion of every sale made during the entire month to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, including sales of their pink growlers. Also, expansion is happening! They just took delivery of four new serving tanks. They also plan to receive two new 20 barrel fermenters in January 2013. Look for lots more beer in the future! You can now find Lone Tree beers on tap at over 19 locations throughout the Denver metro area. Upcoming tappings: Oct. 3rd - Sour Saison, Oct. 10th - aLTBier, and their Rauchbier on Halloween (10/31). Stop in for a taste.

Rock Bottom Brewery (Denver) - Join in for a tapping of their Snake Pit Ale on Thursday October 4th. It's a roasted black IPA and is loaded with Cascade and Simcoe hops. Why attend? Because when they tap it at 6:00pm you can get a FREE pint of it until 6:30pm. Yup, 1 free, provided you are 21+. Then plan to stop back in on Thursday, October 18th for a tapping of their Pumpkin Smasher Ale at 6:00pm and yup, you guessed it. Free pint of that from 6:00pm to 6:30pm. That's two free beers in 2 weeks. Denver location only.

Oktoberfest in Colorado (Annual List) - The harvests are coming in, the weather is starting to cool, and towns and communities in Colorado are celebrating Oktoberfest! The 2012 Colorado Oktoberfest page has compiled a list of over 30+ communities in the Centennial state that have Oktoberfest or Harvest festivals planned. Festivals run through early October.
