Parry's Pizzeria & Bar (Highlands Ranch/Castle Rock) - On December 21st, it's going to be a party celebrating the last night on earth. It's the End of the World Party - 2012. A special menu will be served, in addition to the regular menu, that is themed after one's "last supper". On this menu will be famous last meal requests as well as some menu items that if eaten, you'd have no regrets (because the end of the world has just occurred.) There will also be special firkins on hand from Odell Brewing and Oskar Blues Brewing. This themed party will begin at 6pm on December 21, 2012 and will run until 8pm at both locations. Specially designed shirts will be on hand for patrons to purchase clearly stating, "I survived the end of the world at Parry's" (available while supplies last.) The restaurant will be decorated to give the impression that Parry's Pizza is a safe haven from the destruction and chaos that is happening outside. A costumed grim reaper will be outside, an ambulance and paramedics will be posted up on the sidewalk and a variety of end-of-the-world songs will be played, too. Please, call 303-683-0600 for information on this event or go online to Parry's Pizza's website, at www.ParrysPizza.com.

Metro Denver / Boulder Breweries

Black Shirt Brewing's brewhouseBlack Shirt Brewing Co (Denver) - Their brewhouse equipment is the backbone of the brewery - the workhorse! It's a 4-barrel steam-fired brewhouse that Chad and Carissa found in California on their honeymoon. They bought it, shipped it back to Colorado, and they spent the next two years refurbishing it and making it work like new again. It can make 125 gallons of wort at a time - tiny in scale when compared to most breweries but perfect for BSB. They have been brewing like crazy recently so they will be pouring delicious reds there again soon! (Image courtesy BSB)

Hall Brewing Company (Parker) - It's official! Hall Brewing has gotten all the necessary approvals & licenses and are now brewing beer! Their inaugural brew is an Imperial Red and they are brewing a Double IPA today! Stay tuned Colorado. Their current location is a production only facility and doesn't have a tap room. They are still searching for a future location for that, but their beers will be distributed to select accounts initially around the metro area.
