Metro Denver / Boulder

Arvada Beer Co (Arvada) - Several activities planned for December. ABC will be participating in the Parade of Darks @ Wynkoop Dec. 1st, also on Dec. 4th for Colorado Gives Day at Ralston House & Arvada Center. They will also be one of 5 breweries pouring at a beer dinner at The Golden Hotel on Dec. 5th. On Dec. 6th they will host a Potluck Dinner during the Broncos/Raiders game - sign up to bring a dish. Beer releases: Dec 7 - Engine 1 Pale Ale gluten reduced, Dec 14 - Renovator Dopplebock release, Dec 28 Arvada Pride Double IPA. And finally on Dec 31st they will be throwing a big New Years Eve Party from 8pm to 1am. Be there! Also, sign up for their Mug Club between Dec 7 and Jan 31 - limited to 100 members. Mountain Sun (Boulder) - This coming Tuesday, 12/4, upon opening at all three locations they'll be serving Fruitcake Rum-Aged Belgian Strong Dark. Fruitcake is a Belgian Strong Dark Ale that was brewed with Dried Mission Figs and Turkish Apricots. The beer was then aged in Rum barrels for several months. It is rich and malty with dark stone fruit flavors and oak character up front, followed by spicy Belgian yeast notes. 9.2% ABV, $5.75/Snifter.

Big Choice Brewing (Broomfield) - Direct from their newsletter, On Monday, December 3, 10 and 17 receive $1 extra off $4.50 pints during Happy Hour 4pm-6pm. That means Happy Hour Prices for you are $2.50! Use the Choice Catch Phrase: "I Choose the Brew HA HA Happy Hour!" - Also - every Monday is "Ladies Choice" - the ladies drink at Happy Hour Prices all night ($1 off $4.50 pints). And... their Apres Shred Winter Ale is now on the Old Chicago's Broomfield Winter Beer Tour - check it out.

Northern Colorado

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) - 'Tis the season for holiday beers! Grimm Brothers will be releasing their Weihnachts Bier (German for Christmas beer) on Wednesday, December 5th at their taproom. This is a delicious Weizenbock Ale that you won't want to miss. Also, they have a full line-up of music entertainment lined up every Thursday night in December starting at 5:30pm and lasting until 8:30pm. Acts include: Kurt Humann, Grant McIntosh, Marcy & Leham, and Tom Cornwel. Let great beer and music raise your spirits in December!

Black Bottle BreweryBlack Bottle Brewing (Fort Collins) - Tomorrow is their opening day! Well, actually tonight is, but that is a private party. But come 11:00am you can visit Fort Collins' 11th brewery. They'll have 40 taps of craft beer available including a few of their own. Plus wine and a full liquor bar as well. Enjoy small plate food from their kitchen. If you can't wait until Saturday, NapaOfBeer.com tells us that Choice City Butcher & Deli will have their Bitches Get Stitches beer on tap tonight. Black Bottle Brewery is located at: 1605 S. College Ave in FoCo.

High Hops Brewery (Windsor) - The brewery is pleased to announce the release of The Noble One - a Belgian-style ale brewed with Noble Hops (Spalt & Saaz). It's nectar of the Griffons! The beer will be tapped today as of 12 noon. Stop by for a taste and stay for live music from Sharon Glassman and Paul Kiteck from 6-8pm. The Bedrock BBQ will also be there serving up some tasty food was well. High Hops serves all types of beer for all types of people.

Colorado Springs

Great Storm Brewing (Colorado Springs) - Come join in on 12-12-12 for an evening of beer and cheer. Amazing Springs vocalist Amy Sue Hardy will be in the house singing Christmas carols from 6-8 pm. Plus, GSB will be pouring glasses of cheer with five new beers starting when they open at 11 am, one brewed by each member of their staff especially for Christmas! Lynn draws on her Scottish ancestry to brew Wassail Ale, a Scottish Wee Heavy spiced with apples and cinnamon. Devyn combines her love of coffee and beer to brew Working Girl Coffee Stout, an Irish sweet stout with dark roast espresso. Jeff explores his love of English Ales to bring you John Paul George Stingo, a soured and oaked dark Yorkshire strong ale. Ben Wilder exposes his wilder side with Wilder Brewing's Singularity, an offbeat, peppery Belgian amber with the gravity of a black hole. Plus, they'll be serving Thunderstroke Barleywine, an extremely high gravity sweet English Ale that's sure to warm your bones in cold weather. Limit one 12 oz pour per customer per visit.

Pikes Peak Brewing (Monument) - Today only special - Buy your choice of Panini and get a free half pint of beer with it. That'll save you $2.50 off your bill. Stop in for a bite and a brew.

Mountains and West

Crazy Mountain Brewing (Edwards) - TONIGHT is the tapping release party for their KSKE Extra Pale Ale! $15 at the door gets you 2 pints of the beer, a souvenir pint glass, a plate of delicious Southern food from The Lost Cajun, and an entry into the raffle to win tickets to Snow Daze 3-day music festival. Stop by Crazy Mountain from 5pm-8pm for new beer, live music and a chance to drink beer for charity - 100% of the proceeds go to the Salvation Army.

Telluride Brewing Co (Telluride) - FYI - the brewery will be closed this Sunday in order to refinish their bar. Better stock up Saturday!

Free Pizza with Beer PurchaseThe Mayor of Old Town (Fort Collins) - Hey Guys!! Monday Dec 3rd is just for you! Join the Gary Brewseys Mens Beer Club at the Mayor of Old Town (632 S Mason St, Fort Collins) for Goose island Night at 6pm! Robin from Goose island will be there doing a tasting of many of Goose Island's vintage and award winning beers including the 2012 GABF Gold Medal winner Goose Island IPA. It's free and if you're not careful, you might learn something. - Also at the Mayor - F.A.C. is back today from 3-5. Today's F.A.C. along with next week's (12/7 featuring music by Colleen Glynn) will be the last F.A.C.s for the year as they are booked for Holiday parties through December. So, if you like free pizza and you like beer....this is the club for you!

Home Made Liquids & Solids (Longmont) - Firestone Walker Fans! Tonight at O.B.'s Home Made Liquids & Solids they are planning a Firestone Walker Tap Takeover starting at 4:00pm. There will be 9 FW beers on tap including the FW XVI Anniversary brew, Double DBA, and Parabola (Imperial Stout). Best chance to try several in the same place.
