Join in to rejoice with Ullr himself. Ullr is old - real old, but he still loves a good party. In Norse mythology Ullr (pronounced Oool-er) was the winter god. He was the son of Sif and the stepson of Thor, the "God of Thunder." Ullr loved the cold, and delighted in traveling over the country on his skis or skates. He also delighted in the chase, and pursued his game through the Northern Forests. There will even be an Ullr Beer Bar sponsored in town. Named one of Colorado's best winter festivals.

Falling Rock Tap House SaleVintage Beer Sale
Saturday, January 26, 2013
Falling Rock Tap House - 1919 Blake Street
Denver, CO
Time: 12:00pm til they're all gone.
Cost: Varies by bottle purchased.
It’s been a few years since FRTH has done one of these but they are always a lot of fun and rather exciting to see how well the beers have held up and any changes we weren’t expecting! A few things to remember: These beers are VERY limited. So much so there will be a board with all the beers listed and a number next to it indicating how many bottles are left in the sale. Come in early for the best chances and selection. Some vintages only have 2-3 bottles. You can NOT take the bottles of beer with you unless they are empty and rinsed out. Colorado Liquor law prohibits bars from selling bottled or growler beers to be drunk off-premise. You will have to drink it there, so they suggest bringing some friends down. Most of these beers are meant to be shared anyway! When a beer is off the list, its gone. There are no more available for sale at this time, assuming they will ever have them again. Prices will be posted on Saturday. They are at a much lower price than what these beers would be sold at any other time.

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) will be partnering with the Rackhouse Pub to hold a benefit to help with legal fees for Strange Brewing Company. It's their hope that breweries across Colorado will donate a keg for this event and help promote it state wide. They will also name a charity to benefit from any monies not needed by the legal defense fund. Strange Brewing was recently challenged for their naming rights. Come hoist a few pints and help Strange Brew stay Strange. The idea to help them with legal fee's started with one of our taproom employees. For questions or to Donate a Keg contact Russell@grimmbeer.com. Tickets available at BrownPaperTickets.com.

He enjoined the Lords of Business and the Lords of Information Dissemination that a winter celebration would bring Enterprise to the land and raise up the people in their time of need. Then the Founder said to the people, "Let there be FUN!" And SNOWDOWN was established as a winter Fun celebration. This year's theme is "Get Your Geek On".
