Avery Brewing sets plans on 2013 Beer Events

Avery Brewing Co2013 is going to be a busy year for Avery Brewing Company. Not only are they in the midst of planning a huge brewery move, but they are also continuing on the tradition of hosting a lot of their own beer festivals. 2013 will be yet another year of great Avery beer festivals that you will want to take note of. Here's the rundown on this years events being planned:

Dictators Unite

On Wednesday, January 16th at 7:00pm Mountain Standard Time, Avery is working with 8 amazing pubs in Colorado, Texas and California including their own taproom to simultaneously host all 3 of Avery's Dictator beers in one big celebration. Get a taste of The Maharaja, The Czar and The Kaiser all available together. Check out one of these locations:

Boulder Strong Ale Fest

2013 marks the 11th Annual Boulder Strong Ale Festival. It's scheduled for Friday & Saturday, March 1st and 2nd, 2013 at Avery Brewing in Boulder, CO. Tickets will go on sale on January 18th at 9am sharp. There will be over 100 powerful brews from craft breweries all around the country. This is one festival you will want to get a ride back from and a nearby hotel room. All beers are 8% ABV or higher and are not your average everyday beer. These beers are built strong! It's so big it takes 2 days.

Boulder SourFest

As they say - get ready to "Pucker Up Buttercup". Every beer in this beer festival will be sour and then some! The 4th annual Boulder SourFest will be held on Saturday, June 8th at Avery Brewing and tickets will sell out in minutes. They go on sale April 26th at 9am sharp so be ready to buy when they go on sale. This is a celebration of everything Brett, Lacto and Pedio - the souring agents the turn regular beer into something sour and wonderful. There will be over 60 different sour beers pouring from breweries all over the country. This has been a sell out every year so far.

Avery's 20th Anniversary Party

Look who's turning 2 decades! Avery is and they're hosting a big party to celebrate on Sunday, August 4th, 2013. Tickets go on sale June 21st at 9am and will be available through the Avery Tap Room and online. Your entry fee will get you five full 12oz beers, a load of great BBQ food and the sounds of live music. VIP tickets also available and will get you 5 additional pours from their cellar room. Expect to see a bottles of Avery Twenty - who knows how they will brew that one this year.

Boulder IPA Fest

Last but certainly not least is the 2nd Annual Boulder IPA Fest - considered to be a hop head lovers dream. This festival is set for Saturday, November 9th at Avery Brewing Company. They'll have single IPAs, Double IPAs and even some Triple IPAs available bittered and flavored with every possible kind of hop you can think of. Get ready for a mouth-load of hops, bitter beer faces and a whole lotta "OH YA"! It's a great way to start wrapping up the beer festival year. Tickets go on sale September 27th.

Avery will also participate in several other local festivals around Colorado this year, but only these will take place at their brewery in Boulder, Colorado. Get ready for some fun and flavor in 2013!
