[PRESS RELEASE] Ft. Collins, Colo. – February 18, 2013 – New Belgium Brewing, maker of Fat Tire Amber Ale and a wide variety of award-winning beers, is coming to the Colorado slopes once again with its annual scavenger hunt series. The costume-wearing, chicken-chasing, riddle-reading series is coming to Eldora, Telluride and Loveland Ski Area. The first of the three stops is this Saturday, February 23 at Eldora. Each scavenger hunt provides a day of downhill like no other, all while raising money for local nonprofit organizations.

Participants are tasked with searching the mountain for moving and stationary clues that focus on New Belgium beer and culture, sustainability, the host ski resort and the benefiting nonprofit. The answers vary from easy to difficult. Groups of one to four people can participate in the hunt and it costs $10 per person to enter the scavenger hunt plus the cost of your lift ticket.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. with the scavenger hunt running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Prizes and top honors will be given out at the post-party to those with the highest number of points. The post-party, which will run from 3 p.m to 5 p.m., will also include the chance to win a pair of Rocky Mountain Underground custom-made Fat Tire skis.
