Ska Brewing recently filed a petition against DuClaw Brewing Company in Maryland over the naming rights to the word "Euphoria" on a beer. Ska started brewing a beer called Euphoria in 2005 and DuClaw makes one called Euforia and somehow got the rights to both the words Euphoria and Euforia in 2009. The funny thing is, DuClaw sent Ska a cease-and-desist letter first. Go figure. Who will win out? The lawyers mostly... In other news, Ska Brewing's Vernal Minthe Stout, the 3rd in their canned seasonal stout series, debuts on March 20th.
