Arvada Beer Company (Arvada) - Make your plans to be in Olde Town Arvada Saturday for the St. Patricks Day Festival 12pm to 6pm. There will be 4 live bands, Green Beer and Irish Red out on Grandview. Enjoy arts/crafts booths, food, and an Irish Spirit Contest. Arvada Beer Company will also have Irish Stout on tap inside the tasting room. They'll open at 11am Saturday to get you started. Also they will be open from 11am to 9pm or so on Sunday for all of your St. Patricks day fun!

Black Shirt Brewing (Denver) - According to their blog, Black Shirt Brewing is diving into the barrel-aged sour ale realm and recently filled 8 beer barrels worth of their Flander Red from barrels obtained from the Infinite Monkey Theorum Winery. These filled barrels are now aging in their "Super Secret Sour Cellar" and are getting some secondary fermentation done. They plan to blend some of this beer and eventually bottle some of this brew, but you'll have to wait several months for the debut. Stay tuned.

River North Brewery (Denver) - Colorado Craft Beer Week is shaping up to be a big event and River North has some plans during that week. On Monday the 18th, they’ll kick it off with $4 mainline beers all day Monday. Throughout the week, they’ll also tap some Wayward experiments and maybe even a sneak peak of a brand new barrel-aged beer. For the grand finale, the week will culminate in a much-anticipated beer release on Saturday the 23rd: Announcing the official release of Barrel Reserve 2013! After blending several distinct whiskey-aged beers, they bottled 120 cases of this one-time limited release. Both on tap and in bombers to go starting at 1pm Saturday the 23rd. The party continues on Sunday too with Barrel Reserve on tap all weekend. Bottles will ship to retail stores the following week. River North will be open regular hours on Easter Sunday, March 31st.

Boulder County

West Flanders Brewing (Boulder) - New Brew Crew Tasting Event - There's been several new breweries that have popped up in the Boulder area over the last year. On Wednesday, March 20th there will be a gathering featuring 5 of the new breweries and 10 of their new beers at West Flanders Brewing in Boulder from 7-10pm. Upslope will have it pouring from draft all day and six packs will be available out of the tap room 2 weeks before they hit the stores! During the party they'll have food available from the Cheese Louise food truck and live music from Kort McCumber in the tap room. Also, during Colorado Craft Beer Week they will be raffling off a keg of beer. Raffle tickets are $3 each and proceeds go to help the Colorado Brewers Guild.
