Story:
Erik Maxson, former brewer at Carver Brewing for 12 years, opened his own brewpub at 117 W. College Drive in a building that also houses the 6th Street Hair Salon & Day Spa, Durango Smoke Shop and a RE/MAX. The front of the pub will showcase a garage door that opens to the sidewalk giving a great view of Smelter Mountain. The business will serve its own beers and other guest beers and offer high class pub lunches and dinners. His beers will center in on 1 of the 4 main ingredients of beer: malty beers, hoppy beers, flavorful yeasty beers and a low-alcohol beer.
