Colorado Beer News 041013

Colorado Beer NewsToday is National Siblings Day. Oh no, not another Hallmark holiday! This is the day where we honor our brothers and sisters. We may not have all gotten along as children, but as adults, siblings tend to tolerate each other much better. So why not honor them today and do something for them or with them? You can always buy them a beer and joke about the old days as kids. Here's what's happening around the Colorado beerosphere today Wednesday, April 10th, 2013.

The Brewers Association just released the list of the 2012 Top 50 Breweries (craft and overall) in the United States and several Colorado businesses made both lists. This list was based on 2012 beer sales volume. Grats to all of these breweries for making the list! For a full report, view the press release from the Brewers Association.

The collaboration beer, yet to be named, will be ready about two weeks after the brewing session. This batch will then be kegged and unanimously tapped at each participating brewer’s brewery during American Craft Beer Week, May 13-19.
