Firkins and Clown Shoes taps at Hops and Pie

Hops and PieThe first week of April will feature two events at Hops & Pie in Denver that craft beer lovers will want to take note of.

First up, on Friday, April 5th at 6pm, Hops & Pie will celebrate Firkin 1st Friday with a cask of Dry Dock Brewing Company's Apple Pie Rye. This firkin beer was brewed in honor of the Colorado Rockies home opener. They brewed this beer with American apples and house-made flaky crust all conditioned into a spicy rye ale. They also added a late edition of Magnum & Crystal hops to round out this American brew. Don't miss this special tapping at 6:00pm April 5th.

On the following day, April 6th, Hops & Pie welcomes Clown Shoes Beer from Ipswich, Massachusetts and a big selection of their beers that just got released to Colorado. This will be one of your first chances to sample 6 different Clown Shoes beers in one place. Hop lovers take note! Selections include: Miracle IPA (5.5% ABV), Supa Hero IPA (8% ABV), Hoppy Feet Black IPA (7% ABV), Vampire Slayer Smoked Imperial Stout (11% ABV), Clementine White Ale (6% ABV), and Tramp Stamp Belgian IPA (7% ABV).
