Metro Denver

Saint Patrick's Brewing Company (Englewood) - This new brewery is now headed to Englewood, Colorado instead of Centennial, CO and is quickly preparing for their upcoming opening this summer. They are in the midst of perfecting their recipes in a series of private tastings. They will officially start brewing next week, pending receipt of their city business license, in their new location at 4750 S. Santa Fe Circle, Unit #2 in Englewood, CO. Look for them to produce a line of Artisan Lagers. Owner and brewer Chris Phelps plans to brew roughly 50 gallons a week to start. They already have some verbal agreements with several local retail establishments to start selling their beer in bombers beginning in August. Prior to their August opening, they will be open by appointment only.

Coda Brewing Company (Aurora) - A new brewery is in the works for Aurora, Colorado. Coda Brewing Company is being led by Cedar Creek Pub owner Scott Procop and brewer Luke Smith, who was previously planning to open in Golden. This new 10-barrel brewery will be located close to Cedar Creek Pub on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora (Peoria / Monteview). They just signed a lease to build their brewery & taproom this week. Look for more news from this venture in the weeks ahead.

Epic Beer Festival (Denver) - Want a chance to win free tickets to the June 28-29 Epic Beer Festival in Denver? Enter their contest on Facebook. Those who enter must agree to their Contest Rules, Terms and Conditions. There will be over 120+ breweries and 300+ craft beers available at each of 3 different tasting sessions.

Pairsine Chefs Food & Beer Pairing (Broomfield) - Coming up next Wednesday, June 12th at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, CO - it's the annual Pairsine Chefs Food & Beer Pairing Competition. There will be many chefs competing to create the best food & beer pairings and you get to help decide the winner! Come hungry (and thirsty). Tickets are now available at www.pairsine.com.

Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project (Denver) - The next batch of St. Bretta for the summer is being packaged today. This seasonal addition will include Blood Oranges. Look for a tapping and bottle sales starting in the next day or two.

Boulder County

Very Nice Brewing Co (Nederland) - There's a full stock of their flagship beers now on tap including: Steffie's Heffe, Monk's Phunk, Logical Fallacy, Very Nice Pale Ale and Royal We IPA. And coming soon is Greener's Gruit Ale - a medieval ale predating the use of hops and substituting a collection of herbs: lemon balm, rose petals and yarrow. Thursday night, June 6th is Open Mic Night at 7:30pm. Sign up at 7pm. Like Yoga? Then join in for Pints & Poses on Saturday, June 8th from 12:30pm - 2pm. Also, there is live music playing Saturday June 15th at 6;30pm and Friday June 21st at 7pm. Their taproom hours are Thursday 3-8pm, Fri-Sat 3pm - 9pm and Sunday 2-7pm. Coming soon - even more days open per week!

Wild Woods Brewery (Boulder) - All Summer long on Tuesdays, Wild Woods Brewery is planning to host Happy Hour all night long! Get $1 off pints or their year round beers. Also, this Wednesday 6/5, Bon Appetit Mobile Bistro will be on site serving up dinner.

Avery Brewing Company (Boulder) - Wanna get lei'd? Stop in at the Avery Tap Room this Sunday for their Barrel-Aged Series release #15 - Momi Hiwa. It's a big Imperial Coconut Porter aged in dark rum barrels. 12oz bottle sales start at 5pm and will cost $10 each with a limit of 12 bottles per person - cash only. As always, a lineup of rare and exclusive beers will be available in the Line Party which begins at 11am.

Kettle & Stone Brewing Co (Boulder) - This upcoming brewery is busy brewing beer now! Their "Opening Day IPA" is brewing today. Look for word on opening day any time now. They are located at: 6880 Winchester Circle, in Boulder, Colorado.

Bootstrap Brewing (Niwot) - Trivia Night tonight with Ian. The fun starts at 6:30pm - get your team and get ready for fun. Plus, they've got a double dry hopped IPA (with Apollo hops) on tap tonight as well.

Twisted Pine Brewing (Boulder) - Looking for something different to drink this summer? Why not stop in at Twisted Pine and try their "Shantastic!" Rocky Mountain Wheat and Natural Lemonade Shandy.

Northern Colorado

High Hops Brewery (Windsor) - June 5th brings another in their weekly Wednesday Firkin releases and this time it's a Cherry Wheat Ale. This firkin will tap at 5pm. Then on Friday, High Hops will be unveiling a special Gluten Free Beer release. Live music will be playing inside in the beer garden on Friday from 6-8pm and on Saturday from 5-7pm. Verboten Brewing (Loveland) - With the arrival of Summer-like weather, starting this week Verboten will now stay open later until 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. How awesome is that!

Hunters Moon Meadery (Severance) - A portion of their sales from May, June & July will be donated to the Red Cross Oklahoma Relief fund. Give them a call at 970.302.3183 if you want to stop by the meadery and pick up some tasty local mead.

Choice City Butcher & Deli (Ft. Collins) - Tickets go on sale June 5th for the 4th Annual Colorado Beer Connoisseurs Tasting at Choice City in FoCo. The event will be held on Friday, June 21st, 2013 - the eve before the Colorado Brewers' Festival. This is a great chance to meet brewers and reps from new breweries and some of your favorites in Colorado. They will be bringing their specialty and pilot system beers to share. Appetizers will be provided by Choice City Butchers and you can take home your commemorative glass. Tickets available at Choice City for $50 starting Wednesday June 5th at 5pm. Hurry, this event is bound to sell out quick!

Funkwerks (Ft. Collins) - Fans of Saison d'Brett - take note! This beer is back on tap in the Funkwerks taproom, however, they've sold out of bottles and only have a few kegs left. You know what to do next right?

City Star Brewing (Berthoud) - It's Euchre Night once again in the taproom at 7pm. The highest point scoring individuals will win FREE BEER!
