Colorado Beer NewsTime to start off another week. The weekend never seems to last long enough. It's the start of National Flag Week June 9-15. Metro Denver

Wynkoop Brewing Co (Denver) - Good things are coming to 12oz cans this summer and fall from Wynkoop Brewing. Very soon, Wynkoop will be putting their Colorojo Imperial Red Ale in cans as part of their Even Smaller Batch Series. Wynkoop also just got label approval for their Patty's Chile Beer. This one will also be put into 12oz cans later this summer. Then come the fall, Wynkoop plans to put their Wynkoop Pumpkin Ale into cans as well. The can craft beer revolution grows stronger in Colorado all the time!

Denver Rare Beer Tasting V (Denver) - Craft beer fans take note. Starting at 10am this Sunday, June 16th - tickets go on sale for this year's Denver Rare Beer Tasting V to be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Wynkoop Brewery in Denver, CO. This event features all rare beers and a luncheon all to benefit Pints for Prostates. Expect this event to have a fast sell out. Head over to for more info. Elk Mountain Brewing (Parker) - Just something to make your Monday a bit better. Between 5-6pm today you can get $2 off pints at the brewery for Manic Monday.

Big Choice Brewing (Broomfield) - Father's Day is this coming Sunday and to celebrate, Big Choice is offering Dad's their first beer FREE during their Potluck happening between 2pm and 8pm. They'll also be hosting Trivia & a family movie (Princess Bride). The potluck and movie starts at 3pm, sign up at the brewery to bring a dish to share. Trivia winner gets a certificate for 6 FREE pints!

Lone Tree Brewing (Lone Tree) - It's Growler Monday at LTBC! Stop in, fill your Lone Tree growler and get a $3 discount today. Also get $1 off a half growler fill. Remember, you must be using a Lone Tree Brewing growler to qualify for the discount.

Dad & Dude's Breweria (Aurora) - Tomorrow, Tuesday June 11th starting at 4pm, Dad & Dudes will be hosting an Upslope Brewing mini tap takeover. They'll be pouring Upslope's Craft lager, pale Ale, Belgian pale Ale, Brown and Upslopes new Imperial IPA. Show up and get some free Upslope swag while it lasts.

Arvada Beer Company (Arvada) - Happy Hour happens every day from open til 2pm and also between 4pm to 7pm. During that time you'll get $1 off pints and snifters. Today they are releasing their Poolhall Porter and on Thursday they celebrate the return of their Coal Car Black IPA to the taps. Plus, on Friday their Barth's Berry Blast will return as well.

River North Brewery (Denver) - Wayward Wednesday is going to be awesome this week as River North is filling their tap lines with all of their rare beers from this year! Single kegs each of Anniversary Ale #1, Barrel Reserve 2013 and whiskey-aged Hello, Darkness Black IPA - all tapped at 3pm Wednesday, June 12th.

Parry's Pizza (4 Metro locations) - For the month of June, Parry's has designated 4 different craft beers and 1 hard cider for their $3 Parry's Pints. These include: 5:00 O'Clock Afternoon Ale from Renegade Brewing, Hop Notch IPA from Uinta Brewing, Passion' Me By - Parry's own collaboration beer, Hazed infused from Boulder Beer, and Angry Orchard Crisp Apple from Angry Orchard. $3 pint offer good all month - all day long.

Beer By Design Brewery (Northglenn) - Northglenn's new brewery is tapping Jacque's Double Black IPA today. It's one of their 1st beers in their Women & Beer Series.

TRVE Brewing (Denver) - New expanded business day! TRVE Brewing will now be adding Tuesdays to their list of days they will be open. Starting tomorrow, they will be open on Tuesdays from 4-11pm.

Our Mutual Friend Malt & Brew (Denver) - Yoga and Beer is back - tonight at 6:30pm. This session is donation based and mats are provided if you don't have your own. Stop in, limber up and have a beer!

Pairsine Chefs Food & Beer Pairing (Broomfield) - There is a mid-week beer & food event happening on Wednesday, June 12th at The Outdoor Pavilion at Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield from 4:30pm to 9:00pm. Top chefs will be competing for your votes and creating some of the best beer and food pairings around. Very Nice Brewing Company (Nederland) - Are you an aspiring artist and love craft beer? Then join Jane Sanchez, local artist, at Very Nice Brewing in Nederland on Wednesday, June 12th from 7pm to 8:30pm for "Paints & Pints". Crystal Springs Brewing (Boulder) - This Thursday Crystal Springs Brewing is doing a mini tap takeover at Lulu's BBQ in downtown Louisville. They'll be serving Summertime Ale, Butch and 13 on tap for the takeover. $12 gets you a special glass that allows you unlimited pours of the three beers until they run out. The event starts at 5:00pm. Lulu's BBQ is serving up plenty of food and they also have a full bar. Also, if all goes as planned, Crystal Springs Brewing will take possession of their new digs (permanent taproom location) that same day and they'll definitely be in a party mood!

J Wells Brewery (Boulder) - The brewery received delivery of 4 new 4 barrel fermenters today. This will greatly help expand brewing capacity at their location in Boulder. Look for more beer coming soon.

Left Hand Brewing (Longmont) - Good news and bad news. First the bad news - Left Hand's tasting room will be closed today. The good news is that they will be back open tomorrow and releasing their Hopfenweiss!

Northern Colorado

Black Bottle Brewery (Ft. Collins) - Look for not one, not two, but three beer releases this week from Black Bottle Brewery. 1) Take Warning - a 4% ABV wheat saison with lemongrass and sweet orange peel, 2) PDA (Panty Dropper Ale) - a Belgian-style Tripel at 8.8% ABV 12 IBU, 3) Nook - a single hop Chinook IPA at 6.1% ABV and 40 IBU. Lots of variety on tap! Pair one with a tasty dish from their kitchen.

Colorado Brewers' Festival (Ft. Collins) - It's less than 2 weeks away until the big 24th Annual Colorado Brewers' Festival in Fort Collins, Colorado set for June 22-23. VIP & General Admission tickets are still available. There will be 40+ Colorado only breweries pouring over 80 different beers. There will be plenty of live music playing as well. Verboten Brewing (Loveland) - On Tuesday Night it's "Bike In Night". Get $1 off pints for anyone who shows up on two wheels! (Bicycles and motorcycles included). Then on Wednesday it's Happy Hour from 3-6pm and $1 off pints.

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) - Today stop in for a tapping of their Kleine Else - a German-style Kölsch. It's a great day to cool down with a Kölsch.

City Star Brewing (Berthoud) - Today marks the release of their City Start Cherry Saison. They started off with their Belgian Rye Saison (Barnhouse Ale) and fermented it with Funkwerks yeast and infused it with cherries. Just 1 keg available so stop in and get some early.

Southern Front Range

The Feast of Saint Arnold (Colorado Springs) - Who says beer and churches don't mix? This beer festival is taking place on the historic grounds of the Chapel of Our Savior in the Broadmoor neighborhood this Saturday, June 15th from 12pm to 4:30pm. VIP tix will get you in 1 hour earlier and give you access to specialty beers and food not offered to the general public. Nearly 20 Colorado breweries will be pouring their beers at this fest. Kannah Creek Brewing (Grand Junction) - Today the brewery is tapping a special firkin on a Monday! They won't say what it is, so you'll have to stop in to find out. The firkin taps at 5pm tonight.
