Colorado Beer News 080713

Colorado Beer NewsToday is Particularly Preposterous Packaging Day. You know those products that are so incredibly packaged that you can't seem to open them without hurting yourself or giving up in frustration? Thank goodness beer isn't packaged that way. Beer was meant to be opened and enjoyed easily. Here's what's happening around the Colorado beerosphere today Wednesday, August 7th, 2013. If you aren't reading this article on, you don't know what you're missing.

Metro Denver

Chain Reaction Brewing (Littleton) - More progress on this upcoming nanobrewery. Chain Reaction Brewing just took delivery of 5 of their 6 new 2-barrel fermenters this week. More updates expected soon.

Cannonball Creek Brewing (Golden) - New beer tapping alert! Today CCBC is tapping their new American Stout. It's billed as a huge roasty stout that dark beer lovers and hop heads will both enjoy. It goes on tap at the opening at 3pm today.

Kokopelli Beer Company (Westminster) - Do you like pizza and beer? Kokopelli is in need of some volunteers with muscles tonight between 6:30pm to move some stuff around. Your time will be rewarded with food and drink. They won't turn anyone down (21+ only), the more the merrier. They'll need you for about an hour. Also, if you happen to have some piano/moving dollies, they'd like to borrow about 4 of them. This soon to open brewery is located at 8931 Harlan Street in Westminster, CO.

Black Shirt Brewing (Denver) - Good news! BSB has recently doubled their seating capacity by finishing work on their outdoor patio in the front of their building. Patio rules: non-smoking, nice dogs are allowed, and the patio closes at 9:00pm sharp. That being said, come have a Red ale out on the patio.
