Colorado Plus Brew Pub (Wheat Ridge) - Brewer Adam Draeger has just put up a new brew - Billie Gene - a white stout on Saturday. This brew weighs in at 7.4% ABV and 31 IBUs. It's unnaturally pale for a stout but reportedly tastes just like one. Lots of new guest beers on tap as well including Trinity Brewing's 7 Day Sour and Orange Cream Stout from Ska Brewing.

Arvada Beer Co (Arvada) - Everyone is invited to a Bronco Game Potluck meal this Sunday, September 15th at the brewery starting at 1:00pm. Bring a dish, dessert or entree to share and join in the fun and watch the game that afternoon. Game will start at 2:25pm. Happy Hour runs for the whole game (discounted beer). Growlers to go are also available. Also, tomorrow, September 10th marks the release of their Arvada Schwarzweiss, a dark wheat beer (5.2% ABV). Then stayed tuned for their special 10 gallon Brewers Special Reserve on Thursdays at 2pm. Each week they take one of their beers and add a special ingredient and create a unique small batch.

Rum Barrel Quandary 2013River North Brewery (Denver) - [PRESS RELEASE] After stacking barrels throughout the summer, River North Brewery is set to release the first in a series of new barrel-aged brews, kicking off a fall season full of special releases. First up: Rum Barrel Quandary! This new addition to the RNB Barrel Series debuts Saturday, September 28th at 1pm in the River North taproom, 2401 Blake Street in Denver. For this brew, River North’s brewers blended two-thirds of their quadrupel aged in rum barrels with one-third fresh. The result melds the maltiness of a Belgian dark ale with the sweet sharpness of rum and oak, striking a refined balance between the beer and the barrel. Seventy-two cases were bottled, and both numbered bombers and draft pours will be available during the release party on the 28th. A limited number of bottles will also hit store shelves up and down the Front Range following the taproom debut.

Lone Tree Brewing (Lone Tree) - On Wednesday, September 11th, LTBC will re-release their Peachtree Pale Ale and in honor of the 12th anniversary of 9/11 they will donated $100 of each pint sold that day to the Captain Jason Dahl Scholarship Fund. Also, it's Growler Monday today and you'll get $3 off any 64oz LTBC growler or $1 off 32oz LTBC growlers. Monday Sports Trivia tonight as well.

St. Patrick's Brewing Co (Englewood) - On Tuesday, September 10th, the brewery will be releasing Saint Patrick's Saison, a beer fermented with both lager and ale yeasts. They spiced this beer with vanilla and ginger. Stop in for a free taster of this brew.

Boulder County

Sanitas Brewing Co (Boulder) - Boulder's newest brewery opened last week to a big crowd. One beer special they have is for their highly sessionable "Train Beer". It weighs in at just 3.8% ABV so you can easily enjoy more than one. The brewery is located right next to the railroad tracks and if you order their "Train Beer" while a train is going by you can get one for just $2.50. Be sure to ask about it when you visit them. Don't forget - they do Happy Hour Tuesdays through Fridays from 4pm to 6pm. Open every day except Monday. Enjoy a beer outside on their beer patio.

Front Range Brewing (Boulder) - Some improvements to the tasting room are happening. They just installed some solar shades in the front room to reduce the glare. Plus, they've added a TV in the back space so that you can enjoy a game with a beer. Soon they will be putting up new pendant lights over the bar and will be installing a foosball table. Stop in soon for a cold one and check it out.

Upslope Pumpkin AleUpslope Brewing (Boulder) - Just a reminder, their Flatiron Park tap room will be closed today, Monday September 9th for bar renovations. Stop over at the Lee Hill location instead. Also, mark Thursday, September 12th on your calendar. That is the date for the release party for this year's batch of their Upslope Pumpkin Ale.[PRESS RELEASE] The 2011 Great American Beer Festival gold medal winner is brewed with baby bear pumpkins grown locally at Boulder-based Munson Farms and a custom blend of six spices to round out the flavor. In reaction to last year’s overwhelming response to this seasonal favorite, Upslope doubled the quantity brewed, but stayed true to their award winning recipe. Pumpkin Ale fans can look forward to enjoying even more of the familiar, aromatic and flavorful 7.7% ABV brew they fell in love with last fall. “From the beginning, our Pumpkin Ale has been a labor of love,” said Dany Pages, Upslope’s Director of Brewing Operations. “Prepping hundreds of pumpkins for the mash tun is no small task. The logistics centered around the picking, cooking and carving that has to be done to yield 560 pounds of pumpkin meat every week are definitely unlike that of any other recipe that we brew.” Eager enthusiasts wishing to be the first to try this year’s batch on tap can catch the unveiling at Upslope’s Pumpkin Ale Release Party, September 12, at their Flatiron Park tap room. The beer will be flowing all day, but the party kicks off at 6 p.m. with live music by the Felonious Smith Trio. Grub to go along with this gourd-infused beer will be provided by The Orange Crunch. The fans looking to pick up the, now, virtually iconic, copper-colored 16 ounce four-packs in stores, can expect to see those showing up on shelves starting October 1.

Twisted Pine (Boulder) - Inside their recent newsletter, Twisted Pine stated that they plan to update their tap system from 15 taps up to 24 taps this month in order to make room for all their different creative and experimental batches. Also, later this month, look for the return of their popular seasonal brew "Mr. Brown Pumpkin Ale". They will post the release date on Facebook shortly. Grats also to Twisted Pine for taking GOLD at the Colorado State Fair this year for their Northstar Imperial Porter.

Crystal Springs Brewing (Louisville) - Progress on their new taproom continues. The trench drain is in, the cold room will be operational this week, the tap system is installed, floors have been sanded, work has begun on the bar, the tanks are set, the glassware is in, their chairs have shipped, the POS system and wifi are installed, and the glycol system will be in by the weekend. They plan to be open by the end of September! They plan to have 13 beers on tap including: Summertime Ale, South Ridge Amber, Doc's Porter, Marilyn, Butch, 13, Black Saddle, BS2R, And Bob's Your Uncle, Drum, Solano, Stage House 1899, and Angel Wheat.
