Visual Tour of Odell Brewing Company's latest expansion

Odell Brewing's completed expansionAt long last, Odell Brewing Company of Fort Collins, CO has finally completed their latest expansion and to celebrate, they threw a massive private Open House party tonight. Fermentedly Challenged went in and took a look around. We'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but if you haven't been to Odell Brewing in a while - you might not recognize the place. It's much bigger, grander and has a LOT more brewing capacity now. Click on any picture below to get a bigger view.

There's now a large upstairs area in the new expansion complete with an octagonal shaped meeting room, a spacious upper deck with a view of the new patio, a huge new brewhouse complete with multiple 100+ barrel brewing tanks, offices, additional meeting rooms, a remote tap station leading out to the patio with a walk-up window, an outdoor music stage that will be surrounded by water, a totally redesigned multi-level patio complete with a broken glass firepit and strung lights, and more indoor space for events.

Odell pulled out all of the stops and set up 10 food stations and completely catered the event with restaurant food from some of the best places in town including Jax Fish house, The Moot House, a cheese station and more. Every guest was given a commemorative tasting glass to use for the evening and could take home with them. There were also two bands playing, one outdoors on the new patio stage (Maxwell Hughes) and one inside in the production area (The Constant Tourists). The food was endless and exquisite and the beers were flowing freely from 6 beer stations inside including their new soon to be released Odell Woodcut No 7 - a Russian Imperial Stout.

Guest had the run of the facility. You could explore the new production house, get a peek below floor and the inner workings of the new brewhouse tanks, wander through the rows of fermenters and barrels in the production house, sample a wide variety of beers and food pairings, and simple get awe struck at the architectural beauty of the new addition. Now this is a place I'd love to work in! Even all the local brewers were invited and could be seen mingling with the crowd.

This expansion will help expand Odell's production and help it meet their ever growing demand for the next several years. Can't wait for their next big event at their brewery. It's a showcase spot that now matches the likes of New Belgium.
