About Brewery Rickoli

The premiere brewery in Wheat Ridge, Brewery Rickoli is bringing flavorful, gluten-removed beers to the western suburbs of Denver. Owner and brewmaster Rick Abitbol had been professionally brewing along the Front Range for over a decade before deciding to open his own brewery. With the help of Rick’s wife, Jaqua Abitbol, and a friend, Rickoli’s opened on November 28, 2012. The brewery is the smallest in Colorado, brewing on a half-barrel “keggle” system, but still managing to keep 16 beers on tap. In February 2013, Brewery Rickoli grew with the addition of Josh Norton as the second brewer and Devon Adams as marketing and beer education. In November, Devon passed the second level in Cicerone certification, to become one of less than 1,000 individuals worldwide to hold the title of Certified Cicerone®.

Brewery Rickoli recently won the Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream® experienceship program which will allow the brewery staff to work with Boston Beer Company on all aspects of their business. It will also allow Rick to travel to Boston to enhance his skills and offers the potential of creating a collaboration beer with the Boston Beer Company.
