Metro Denver

Arvada Beer Co (Arvada) - 2014 Mug Club memberships are now on sale. Existing members can renew for $50 and also new members are welcome to join for $75. Membership gives you: 1) A dated 2014 Logo'ed mug to take home, 2) Mug to drink out of at the tasting room (4 extra oz per serving) for beers under 8% ABV, 3) $1 off snifters of beer over 8% ABV, 4) Invite to 10 pre-release parties during the year with 1 free mug or snifter of beer at each party, 5) End of year catered appreciation party for Members only, and 6) $2 off growler fills everyday. Ask your server about the club. BEER RELEASE - Coffee Porter returns this week. Plus, Butter Pecan Brown is also back just in time for Thanksgiving season. Their Vanilla Porter is now part of their regular house beer line-up!

Yak & Yeti (Arvada) - Two of their fall seasonal beers are nearly gone - Oktoberfest and Brown Rick & Honey Ale. Grab one before it's too late. Also, their new Dragon's Wort Ale, a Belgian Specialty Ale with Tarragon spice is now on tap. Bring out the dragon in you with a pint of this! In other news, Yak & Yeti recently won a Bronze medal at the All Colorado Beerfest for their Himalayan IPA. 11 brews on tap today plus their Honey Ginger Soda. Happy Hour 3-6pm daily - get $1.50 off a full sized draft.

Dry Dock Brewing Co (Aurora) - It's the most wonderful time of the year... because at Dry Dock it's nearly time for the 5th annual Ho Ho Ho Slapdown. It's set for Saturday, November 30th from 11am to 5pm. It's Dry Dock Brewing’s annual in-house brewing contest! This year they have 6 brewers on 3 teams. The best part - you get to vote for your favorite! It’s also "Ugly Christmas Sweater Day". So make sure to wear the most obnoxious sweater you can find and try and out-do the Dry Dock staff!

Breckenridge NVP Nitro Vanilla PorterBreckenridge Brewery (Denver) - You've heard of an MVP before, but have you heard of an NVP? Breckenridge Brewery introduces their new Nitro Vanilla Porter. This new spin on their classic Vanilla Porter is infused with a combination of nitrogen and CO2 gases. This draft only beer delivers a mellow, velvety version of a time honored tradition. Show Breck you're their #NVP & use the hashtag on pictures when enjoying Nitro Vanilla Porter at your local fine craft brew bar. Their favorite pics will be posted up on their facebook page and they will send you some prizes!

Brewery Rickoli (Wheat Ridge) - Another 1st! Anniversary that is. On November 28th, Brewery Rickoli will officially be one-year-old, and they are having a shindig on the 29th from noon to 8pm (with the 28th being some big holiday) called the "First Anniversary & Black Friday Relief Party". There will be beer specials, a Thanksgiving leftovers potluck, a contest, and the launch of their new beer club. "Black Friday Sucks! Drink Beer Instead!"

Cannonball Creek Brewing Co (Golden) - Those of you that visited Cannonball Creek in the early days may remember their "Chain Shot Abbey Double". This Belgian style strong ale was one of their original beers, and has been one of their most highly requested beers to bring back. The Chain Shot returns to the tapwall today at 3:00 PM.

Copper Kettle Brewing (Denver) - The new Mexican Chocolate Stout glasses and new 8oz half pint glasses are in! Come check them out. Plus the Yamalama - candied yam red ale is on cask today.

Boulder County

Fate Brewing Co (Boulder) - Enjoying this 60 degree weather? While it lasts, Fate will offer you $2 Watermelon Kolsch pints every day it is over 60 degrees outside.

Boulder Beer Co (Boulder) - Don't forget - This Saturday, November 16th marks "The Dude's Bane Release Party" from 3pm on. The Dude's Bane is a big 12.3% ABV Barleywine that has been aged one year in oak bourbon barrels. Get in line starting at noon and get your line number. If you wear a robe, you'll have a chance to win Bottle #1 of this release! All bottles are waxed and numbered. Limit 12 bomber bottles per person. This beer will age well in cellars for years, but why wait? Drink one now and age another.

Bootstrap Brewing Co (Niwot) - Their popular Worthog Stout is back on tap just in time for the holidays. This brew was also bottled in bombers and will be available in area liquor stores starting next week. (6.0% ABV) - "Brewed in the traditions of a Foreign Extra Stout, this ale combines dark malts which release hints of roasted barley and chocolate flavors and aroma."

Mountain Sun (Boulder) - Get Happy Hour pricing on Mountain Sun beers all day Wednesday when you wear a "Wild Animal Shirt". It's what they call Wild Wednesday. Good at all Mountain Sun locations.

Left Hand Brewing (Longmont) - On Saturday, November 30th, Left Hand plans to dig into their archive collection of rare and aged beers. They plan to pull out a single keg of 2012 Smoke Jumper Smoked Imperial Porter as a special tapping that day. Who knows what else they might pull out.

Northern Colorado

Crow Hop Brewing Co (Loveland) - While they may have been open for a few weeks now, Crow Hop Brewing Company is planning to celebrate with their official Grand Opening on November 23rd. Details on this celebration will be coming up soon. They are located at 217 East 3rd Street in Loveland, CO.

Crabtree Brewing (Greeley) - Tomorrow, Thursday November 14th at 7pm, Crabtree will host "Birds, Banners & Beer", a guided painting experience. The $30 fee (at the door) includes all art supplies, instruction and 2 Crabtree beers. Create a painting based upon the theme of birds and banners. Please RSVP on their Facebook page if you plan to come. At the end of the night you get to take home your creation.

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) - Coming up this Saturday, November 16th, Grimm Bros will release a Bryhan Bier named "Pack of Scoundrels". Broyhan bier is brewed with barley, wheat, oats and spices. This beer was originally from Hannover back in 1525 and made for at least 300 years. This is another example of a dead style brought back to life. A light ale brewed with hops and spices (coriander, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and lavender).

Funkwerks (Ft. Collins) - Funkwerks collaborated with The Mayor of Old Town and came up with "Echoes", a Belgian-style Dubbel. Previously known as "Son of Nothing", but aged in red wine barrels with souring agents. This beer will not be bottled, but only available on tap at Funkwerks and at The Mayor.

Southern Front Range

Pikes Peak Brewing (Monument) - They've brewed up another monster batch of Elephant Rock India Pale Ale and have put this back on tap. Plus, they will be canning this beer for the 3rd time next week.

Phantom Canyon (Colorado Springs) - New beer on tap today: Martinus Dom, a Belgian-style Dubbel brewed with a large amount of honey, dried fruit and dark candy sugar. It measures 10.0% ABV and 26 IBUs. Served in a snifter glass for your enjoyment.

Mountains and West

Ska Brewing (Durango) - Alas, Ska sadly announced the demise of their long time regular beer - Ten Pin Porter (retired and no longer brewed). There will be a memorial service at the taproom on Black Friday, November 29th throughout the day for those wishing to pay your last respects to this long-time favorite dark beer (since 1996). It was the 3rd brew that Ska ever brewed. Ten Pin Porter is survived by a nephew, Steel Toe Stout, a brother, Nefarious Ten Pin Imperial Porter, and four cousins, known collectively as the Seasonal Stouts.
