Colorado Beer News 121013

Colorado Beer NewsToday is National Lager Day. #LagerDay - Craft beer fans always have to choose between ales and lagers, but today, you are encouraged to choose a lagered beer. Lagers use yeast that ferment beer at much lower temperatures than ales. Think that all lagers are fizzy yellow beers - NO! Lagers can also be of any beer color from near white to pitch dark and are also commonly made by many craft breweries. If you plan to stop for a craft beer today - seek out a lager. Today is also "Colorado Gives Day". Consider helping out a local Colorado charitable organization today. Here's what's happening around the Colorado beerosphere today Tuesday, December 10th, 2013. If you aren't reading this article on FermentedlyChallenged.com, you don't know what you're missing.
