WinterWonderGrass Music and Brew Festival set for February 2014

2014 WinterWonderGrass Music and Beer Festival2013 may not be over yet, but the 2014 beer festival season is already being planned. One of the first music and beer festivals of the new year will take place in the Vail Valley in late February - the WinterWonderGrass Music and Brew Festival. Here's a press release issued today outlining this upcoming event.

2nd annual WinterWonderGrass Music and Brew Festival lands in Nottingham Park in Avon, Colorado –February 21st - 23rd.

[PRESS RELEASE] The second annual WinterWonderGrass music and brew festival returns to the Vail Valley on February 21st for three nights of music, local foods, craft beer and so much more. WinterWonderGrass is a unique, boutique outdoor winter music and beer festival highlighting bluegrass and acoustic roots music as well as Colorado’s finest craft breweries. The Festival takes place at Nottingham Park in Avon, Colorado, with Beaver Creek Ski Resort as the perfect backdrop

This year’s WinterWonderGrass line-up expands from long-time Bluegrass legends, Leftover Salmon and Sam Bush to upcoming bands fast on the rise, Greensky Bluegrass, The Infamous Stringdusters and Elephant Revival. Additional artists include; Head for the Hills, Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, Fruition, MilkDrive, WhiteWater Ramble, Scott Law and Tyler Grant, The Dead Winter Carpenters, Gipsy Moon and more.

The WinterWonderGrass Festival will transform Nottingham Park into a playground for all ages. Two large heated beer halls sponsored by our presenting breweries Great Divide Brewing Co., and Crazy Mountain Brewery. An assortment of local Colorado craft breweries will be pouring their signature craft beers during the free beer tastings each day 3-6pm, including Bonfire Brewery, Left Hand Brewing Co., Oskar Blues Brewery, Elevation Beer Company, Telluride Brewing Co., Odell Brewing Co, Aspen Brewing Company, Breckenridge Brewery, Upslope Brewing Company and Wynkoop Brewing Co. Between main stage acts, the beer halls will heat up with some of the freshest and hottest pickers and bands and beer enthusiasts will be invited to hear a daily talk by a presenting beer partner. Local foods, hot drinks, BBQ and other treats will be available in the vendor village. The festival focuses on community, sustainability, Colorado lifestyle, Colorado craft beer and the best bluegrass and acoustic music out there.

The $119 Fresh Tracks ticket is on sale now for a limited time. The advanced festival ticket price will include 3 nights of music, beer tastings and a Klean Kanteen commemorative stainless steel festival beer mug. Kids 12 and under are free.
