Yak & Yeti Restaurant & Brewpub (Arvada) - Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday is coming up next week! And just for the occasion, Yak & Yeti will bring back their popular "(Yakety Yak) Don't Talk Bock" beer on Tuesday, March 4th at 4pm. And at 5pm that day, they will conduct the "Blessing of the Bock" by an ordained minister. Come by early to get your glass filled in time for the blessing. Lone Tree Brewing Co (Lone Tree) - Tomorrow, February 25th, is the last session of "Birds and Beer". Support HawkQuest! They will have live raptors (birds of prey) on display, 4:00pm - 7:00pm, there at Lone Tree Brewing Company as part of the brewery's Charity of the Month program. 2014 Denver International Beer Competition

Our Mutual Friend Malt & Brew (Denver) - The new artist glass (#6) is in and it will be available starting tomorrow. It's a beautiful stemmed glass with the brewery logo. Fiction Beer Company (Denver) - Good news came in the mail today. Fictio Beer Company just received their State of Colorado Alcohol Beverage License! One more step closer to opening. The brewery doesn't have a license to serve food, but they will be hosting regular food trucks, offer free popcorn on site and will encourage patrons to order food for delivery right to the brewery. Avery Brewing Rufus CorvusAvery Brewing Co (Boulder) - Over the weekend, Avery released No 18 in their Barrel-Aged Sour Ale Series - Opuntia. And already, they are making plans to release their next beer in the series. Look for "Rufus Corvus", No. 19, an artful and massively acidic blend of two major projects and further enhanced with several orphan barrels from the corners of their barrel aging cellar. All ale involved was barrel aged for a minimum of 8 months and a maximum of 24 months. Pucker up, buttercup! Look for this one to be release in the coming weeks. BRU Handbuilt Ales & Eats (Boulder) - Sign up for the BRU Ode to Colorado Game Beer Dinner set for Tuesday, March 11th at 7pm at BRU. Every month Executive Chef / Brew Master / Founder Ian Clark of BRU handbuilt ales & eats showcases his passion for all things food and beer with a monthly beer dinner. This month will showcase Colorado Game paired with his handbuilt ales. The evening starts with a Rabbit Crépinette with cranberry jelly and a crisp parsnip and paired with Pinesnarl Cascadian Black Ale with Colorado spruce tips. Other highlights of the night include Bison Tartar with cured egg yolks, puffed celery root, and kimchi mustard paired with Belux Belgian Pale Ale with black pepper and lemongrass and Lamb Braciola with toasted faro, saison-apricot demi glace, and roasted root vegetables paired with Big Brown Woody Imperial Brown Ale with new American oak. Front Range Rally (Loveland) - It's never too early to start thinking about warmer weather and outdoor beer fests. Crabtree Brewing (Greeley) - If you missed their Baltic Porter release last Friday then you need to get down to Crabtree and try it!
