Station 26 Brewing Co (Denver) - There's going to be three new beers tapping this week that you'll want to try. Tomorrow (Tuesday) they're tapping batch two of their Double IPA (10.0%, 90 IBUs, dry hopped with Citra and Galaxy, just like the first batch). This time they made enough to allow for growler fills, and you'll see some kegs at some of their draft accounts around town. This beer was a hit the first time around, and they expect the same this time as well. Then on Wednesday (4/16) they'll tap a Foreign Extra Stout (6.5%, 45 IBUs). And on Thursday at 4:00 they're tapping a firkin of Cream Ale with green tea. [7045 E 38th Ave, Denver, CO]

Kettle & Stone Brewing Co (Boulder) - Don't get used to their brewery name just yet, as Stone Brewing Company of California is telling Kettle & Stone Brewing to cease and desist with their brewery name or else they won't be allowed to expand their operations. In yet another legal battle being waged, Stone Brewing Company, a well known brewery who distributes their beer in many states of this nation, doesn't like the fact that a local Colorado brewery shares their entire name. In an article posted by the Daily Camera, Kettle & Stone Brewery state that they plan to change their name in order to comply with the order, but the new name has yet to be revealed. It seems that unclaimed nouns are hard to come by these days as lawsuits are becoming more and more common these days in the brewing industry. [6880 Winchester Circle, Boulder, CO]
