Blue Spruce Brewing Co (Centennial) - Final inspections are happening today at this new soon to open brewery in Centennial, Colorado. If all goes well, they plan to open their doors next week. Their brewhouse has been working at full capacity and they've been busy making beer for the last several weeks. Stay tuned for official word on opening day. Wynkoop Brewing Co (Denver) - Wynkoop will hold a pre-release party for their latest beer being put into a can on Friday, April 18th at Novo Coffee on Glenarm Street. This time they are releasing their "Kurt's Mile High Malt", a vienna lager brewed with Novo coffee. The official release is on Sunday, April 20th (4/20) and can-packs will be available in local stores sometime next week. [1634 18th St, Denver, CO]

Rockyard Brewing (Castle Rock) - Yesterday, the brewers along with Fire Fighters Union 4116 got together and brewed up their annual batch of "Bumper Time Ale". Look for the release of this beer in early May with a fantastic release party. [880 Castleton Rd, Castle Rock, CO]

Odyssey Beerwerks (Arvada) - Today is Discovery Beer Wednesday! At 5:00pm sharp they'll be tapping a Gose, which is a German style, unfiltered wheat beer; light, tart, and slightly salty. Lone Tree Brewing Co (Lone Tree) - Today is Dunkelweizen tapping day. Stop in and enjoy a pint of this dark Bavarian-style hefe. No food truck today, so please carry-in or order-in.

Copper Kettle Brewing (Denver) - This week's scheduled cask tapping of "Sex on the Beach" had to be moved to April 30th. Instead, today they will tap a cask of an Herb Blonde Ale made with Lemongrass and fresh mint. It taps at 3pm. [1338 S Valentia St, Unit 100, Denver, CO]

River North Brewery (Denver) - Today's Wayward Wednesday tapping is a Whiskey Barrel Quandary Quad. Also on tap today is: The Goodman Life, J. Echo Brewing Co (Frederick) - Echo Brewing is turning 2 years old! And they plan to host an Anniversary Party on Saturday, April 26th from 11am to 9pm. American Craft Beer Radio will be broadcasting their show live from 12pm to 1pm. Then listen to live music from Nick O'Conner from 1-3pm. And Ben Pu and Crew will perform on the patio from 4pm to 5:30pm. And then Cat Jerky will rock the parking lot from 6pm to 8pm. Big Choice Brewing (Broomfield) - Today they will be tapping a 10 gallon batch of a Session IPA just for fun. This brew has a hoppy, citrus taste and is reportedly awesome. Stock up your growlers before Easter as they will be closed this Sunday. [7270 W 118th Pl, Broomfield, CO]

Double Zero Brewery (Longmont) - A new Kickstarter fundraising project just started up this week that aims to raise funds for Cary Holt's new Barrel Project. The Barrel project will be funding Double Zero’s equipment upgrade to a barrel brew system. This will allow Cary to master full grain craft-brewing skills. The expansion of these skills and knowledge will allow Double Zero to grow into a bigger business. Future plans include expansion into a space that includes a tasting room. By creating new and exciting brews and various flavors, Double Zero will be able to get the appropriate licensing to sell their brews around the Colorado area. Double Zero’s flavors so far are unique and intriguing combinations. Some of the favorites include Orange Clove Wheat, Honey Amber ale, Hoffee IPA (a double-hopped coffee IPA), DSA (Dangerously Scotch Ale) and a Mint Porter. [No address yet, Longmont, CO]

Collins) - [PRESS RELEASE] On April 19th, Odell Brewing will celebrate the return of Footprint RegionAle, its latest Cellar Series release beer made with ingredients sourced from each state in the brewery’s distribution footprint. “We added a new state to our footprint this year, so we had to add a new ingredient,” said pilot brewing and barrel aging manager, Brent Cordle. “Texas grapefruit was a scrumptious addition to this year’s beer.” First brewed in 2012, Footprint is a complex medley of regional flavors from each of the eleven states in which Odell Brewing distributes blended together to make one unique harmonious beer. The indigenous ingredients include hops and barley from Colorado and Idaho, Arizona prickly pear juice, wheat from Kansas and Wyoming, Minnesota wild rice, Nebraska corn, New Mexico green chiles, South Dakota honey, oak staves from Missouri, and new this year, Texas grapefruit. The final blend boasts a floral citrus nose with bright grapefruit up front on the pallet and just a hint of green chile and fruit from the prickly pear in the finish. Odell Brewing will celebrate the release of Footprint in the tap room on Saturday, April 19th. Guests can enjoy samples of the beer paired with local food truck fare, as well as live music by Tallgrass from 4-6pm. The Mayor of Old Town (Ft. Collins) - Stop in at The Mayor today at 4:00pm for a tapping of their collaboration beer they did with The Fort Collins Brewery called "Any Colour You Like", a Berliner Weisse. Some of the FCB crew will be on hand to talk with and answer questions. City Star Brewing (Berthoud) - Save the date for Tuesday, April 29th at 6:30pm. That's the date for the new City Star Taproom Potluck event. This month's food theme is Mexican. Bring a dish to share. Funkwerks (Ft. Collins) - [PRESS RELEASE] Funkwerks, the award-winning Saison-focused brewery in Fort Collins, Colorado announced today the release of Raspberry Provincial, a seasonal Belgian-Style Sour Ale. This is the second bottling of Raspberry Provincial. Funkwerks first debuted Raspberry Provincial in summer 2013. More than 160 pounds of raspberries were added to Provincial, a Berliner Weisse style beer, resulting in a tart fruit beer complete with a citrusy raspberry aroma and delicate sweet and tart finish. Alcohol by volume is 4.2%. “Last summer we brewed a test batch of Provincial, our take on a Berliner Weisse style beer and decided to have some fun with it,” said Gordon Schuck, Funkwerks Co-Founder/Owner and Head Brewer. “We added a heavy dose of raspberries and the end result was so delicious we decided to recreate it. Raspberry Provincial is pleasingly tart and refreshing. Buckhorn Brewers (Loveland) - Dave the brewer is busy cooking up the Jesters Ale for the upcoming Colorado Medieval Festival. Made with seville orange, juniper berries, chamomile and coriander, with malty sweetness! They will be closed Sunday for Easter. Their Steam Beer is kegged up, and delicious. Bristol Brewing Co (Colorado Springs) - Here's a tip for you to remember for Hump Days. Bristol Brewing offers $1 off all growler jug fills between 3pm to 7pm every Wednesday. Bring in your growler and fill 'er up! Open Wednesdays 11am - 10pm. And get ready for April 24th at 5pm when they will host their Maibock Release Party. It'll be the first patio party of the year. Dodgeton Creek Brewing (Trinidad) - Progress is being made towards opening a brewery in Trinidad. They finished the electrical for their glycol chiller and they are now awaiting final inspection from the city on the buildout. And they plan to need to modify the gas lines for their brew kettles in June. The taproom is about complete. The brewhouse will be a 3 bbl system with 6 bbl fermenters and a 1/2 bbl pilot system.
