Metro Denver

Copper Kettle Brewing Co (Denver) - This week marks their 3 year anniversary. They plan on offering several new beers, hosting live music, and having some great food selections available from Thursday, April 24th to Sunday, April 27th. After the party is over, they will close for 1 day on Monday, April 28th in order to give their employees time to rest up. Blue Spruce Brewing (Centennial) - It's finally happening! The brewery has now passed their final city inspections and will be opening later this week! Look for Blue Spruce Brewing to open its doors by the weekend. They will post a formal announcement on Facebook any day now. The brewery is also a restaurant that will feature Mazatlan style Mexican food. They plan to eventually host between 8-12 of their own beers on tap made on their own 7 barrel brewing system along with having a couple of local guest taps. Dry Dock Brewing Co (Aurora) - [PRESS RELEASE] Beginning in May, Aurora’s Dry Dock Brewing Company will offer its canned Apricot Blonde ale in 12-packs. This misty golden blonde ale is fermented with shiploads of fruit. It finishes crisp and clean, creating endless pairing potential with foods like salmon, Monterey jack cheese, and lemon custard. Apricot Blonde comes in at 5.1% ABV and is barely bitter with 17 IBUs. This year, Dry Dock’s Apricot Blonde won a silver World Beer Cup® in the fruit beer category. In 2012, the brewery took home a gold medal from the Great American Beer Festival® for the Apricot Blonde. Epic Brewing (Denver) - Denver's Mac Spa brings their iMovie workshop to the Epic tap room. Film a brewery tour, drink beer and learn how to edit your footage in iMovie! $20. Cannonball Creek Brewing Co (Golden) - Today they have tapped the last of their collaboration brews with 12 Degree Brewing. Coalesce Saison with Brett and Coalesce Framboise with Raspberries are both on tap today. These will go quickly. South Denver Beer Festival (Littleton) - Mark your calendars for May 3rd & 4th. Those are the days set for this year's South Denver Beer Festival in Clement Park in Littleton, CO. Falling Rock Tap House (Denver) - Coming up on Saturday, May 3rd at 6:30pm, Falling Rock will host the Brew Crew from Stone Brewing Company for a special tapping of a new beer - Spröcketbier, a black rye Kölsch-style ale. This brew will be distributed nationally starting this week. They will also be pouring Stone IPA and Stone Go To IPA. [1919 Blake St, Denver, CO]

Arvada Beer Co (Arvada) - This Friday, April 25th marks the return of their Water Tower Weisse beer. Friday only, they will offer that beer for just $2.50 a pint (that includes tax). [5600 Olde Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO]

Dad & Dude's Breweria (Aurora) - Today is $2 Tuesday. Today they are pouring $2 house pints, well drinks & pizza slices. House brews today include: DANK IPA, Les Quatre Saisons, Model Citizen Golden Ale, Cinna Chai Milk Stout, Norma Jean Belgian Dubbel, Walt Wit, Man!, Diggity Dank Imperial IPA, and Nitro Milk Stout. AHA Big Brew Day (Nationwide) - In honor of National Homebrew Day (which falls every year on May 7), each year the American Homebrewers Association (AHA) celebrates AHA Big Brew on the first Saturday in May. This year, throughout the day on May 3rd, hundreds of bars, breweries, shops and clubs all over the country will host their local communities to brew on-site for a national, same-day homebrewing session. At 11am MDT, all homebrewers and beer lovers are encouraged to raise a glass of homebrew in a simultaneous toast that celebrates those who craft outstanding homemade beer, mead and wine for their friends and loved ones. A number of suggested homebrew recipes are selected for AHA Big Brew participants to follow. This year’s recipes—which consist of a pale ale, stout and dark lager—are all gold medal winners from last year’s National Homebrew Competition, the world’s largest beer competition. Check your local homebrew clubs or breweries to see if they are hosting an event near you.

Westminster Brewing Co (Westminster) - Their 1066 English Bitter Ale is now back on tap today. Other beers on tap today include: 12 Apostles (German ale), WBC Irish Ale, Moses (Chocolate Porter), Shiva (IPA), WBC American Pale, Abel (Black IPA, almost gone!), and WBC Imperial Stout. On cask: Olde Irish Ale, Olde Moses, Olde Shiva, and Old American Pale. Plus, ask for a free half-pint taste of their Beer X beer experiment. They want your feedback on it. Fate Brewing Co (Boulder) - Make sure to stop by FATE on Cinco De Mayo (Monday, May 5th). They will be releasing 750ml bottles of their Arta Tequila barrel aged Gose! 300 Suns Brewing (Longmont) - Their Colorado Sunday SMASH 2.0 is now on tap. This Single Malt, Single Hop ale is brewed with all Colorado ingredients. Chinook hops and 2-row pale malt give it a light, refreshing flavor just in time for this beautiful weather. Also, they have extended their hours for Spring & Summer, Mon-Thurs 2-9pm - Fri-Sat noon-10pm - Sunday noon-8pm. Also, don't forget tonight is Trivia Night for teams of 2-6 people. Avery Brewing Co (Boulder) - This Sunday, April 27th at 1:00pm marks the release of their Rufus Corvus Barrel-aged Sour Ale (#19) in the Tap Room. Described as an artful and massively acidic blend of two major projects and further enhanced with several orphan barrels from the corners of their barrel aging cellar. All ale involved was barrel aged for a minimum of 8 months and a maximum of 24 months. Bottle sales begin at 1pm. Each bottle is $12 per 12oz. bottle, limit 12 bottles per person. Microbreweries for the Environment (Boulder) - The 22nd annual event is back for another year at the Boulder Theater this Friday, April 25th. This year they have 19 breweries participating and two high energy Colorado-based bands. Tickets are $23 to help benefit five local non-profit organizations. Beers will be $2 per pint. Northern Colorado

Front Range Rally (Loveland) - Today is the last day - Enter to win 2 FREE General Admission tickets to the Front Range Rally beer festival in Loveland, CO set for May 31, 2014. Wiley Roots Brewing Co (Greeley) - Wiley Roots will be the subject of their very first Tap Takeover in honor of the upcoming UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival (April 24-26) this Thursday, April 24th at the Moxi Theater in downtown Greeley. Then again on Friday, April 25th, the Moxi Theater will tap a special Wiley Roots small batch beer that was brewed just for the festival called "One by One", a single hop, single malt pale ale. Brewery Bingo (Northern Colorado) - Brewery Bingo is coming back for another year during American Craft Beer week (May 12-18, 2014). During that week, stop by any Northern Colorado craft brewery and ask for a bingo card. Visit at least 5 different Northern Colorado breweries in Ft.
