Yak & Yeti Restaurant & Brewpub (Arvada) - There are 10 brews on tap today including their newly tapped Chocolate Frosting Stout, a fan favorite from last year's GABF. Also on tap: Namaste Pilsner, Himalayan IPA, Chai Milk Stout, Jalapeno Lena, GF Apple Ale, West Cost Glutton DIPA, Rupee Red Ale, Devil's Wine Barleywine, Yakety Yak Don't Talk Bock, and Raj Mahal Belgian Red. Arvada Beer Co (Arvada) - Just less than a mile from Yak & Yeti is Arvada Beer Company. Today they plan to bring back a new batch of their Butter Pecan Brown ale. Other beers on tap today include Lemon Shandy, Irish Stout, Olde Town Brown, Ralston's Golden Ale, Water Tower Wheat, Arad Red, Goldline IPA, Saison de Davis, Session IPA, Nitro Red, and the Poolhall Porter. Coda Brewing Company (Aurora) - Aurora has a new brewery! Yesterday, CODA Brewing held a soft opening and are now open 7 days a week. They started out with three brews on tap including a Migration Oatmeal Stout, Dogcatcher Red and Hydle Session Ale. Coming soon to the tapline will be a Kolsch-style beer. Their business hours will be Monday through Thursday 3pm to 9pm, Friday & Saturday 12pm to 9pm and Sundays 12pm to 7pm. Growlers and shirts are also available. This establishment was founded by Luke Smith and Scott Procop. It's located on the former Fitzsimons base and are next to the Anschutz Medical Campus. They brew on a 8.5-bbl system. Strange Craft Beer Co (Denver) - In case you haven't heard, as of early April, the new name of the brewery is now in effect. They are now officially called "Strange Craft Beer Company" and they have lots of events coming up in May. Learn to make Cheese @ Strange Craft on May 6,7, 12, 13, 20 and 21. Big Choice Brewing (Broomfield) - Here's a list of some of the upcoming beers being released at Big Choice. Specific dates to be announced. Ollie-Weizen - a hefeweizen, Chainsaw Prince of Karate Sour - collaboration with Odd13 Brewing, Session IPA - small 10 gallon batch. Plus, they also have some upcoming beers coming out in cans: West Portal Colorado Common (May), and Oktoberfest (August). Don't forget their 2nd anniversary party this Saturday, May 3rd at The Old Man, 10am - 8pm. Special tappings and awesome BBQ and a 5K Race starting at 10am. Lastly, join their Ugly Mug Club. Wiley Roots Brewing Co (Greeley) - The collaboration between the Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant chain and local Colorado brewers comes to Greeley this Thursday, May 1st as the Rio Grande in Greeley will be tapping a beer made especially for them by Wiley Roots at 6pm. This beer is named "Con Lima" and is billed as a lighter, citrusy brew that goes well with Mexican entrees. In addition to this beer, the Rio Grande will also be offering up several other Wiley Roots beers including their Chocolate Porter, an IPA, and two varieties of wheat beer. City Star Brewing (Berthoud) - Their 2nd year anniversary weekend kicks off this Friday with beer and music. Greg Schochet and Katie Glassman are kicking it off this Friday 6pm. The hootenanny celebration kicks off with The Railsplitters AFTER HOURS show Saturday, May 3rd 8-11pm (no cover charge). Sunday, May 4th the taproom opens at noon with the release of Vauquero, Tequila Barrel Aged Golden, and the launch of the 2014 Deputy Mug Club. Crabtree Brewing Co (Greeley) - According to their distributer, Tivoli Distributing, Crabtree Brewing now has a new beer available called "Maggie", a blonde ale fermented with wild yeast. Colorado Brewers Festival (Ft. Collins) - This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Colorado Brewers Festival. The festival will take place on June 28th & 29th 11am-5pm daily in Civic Center park with over 40 Colorado breweries and 70+ different beers. This year, entrance to the festival is FREE and you can purchase tasting packages inside starting at $20. There will also be another "All Brewers' Eve" on Friday, June 27th with access to exclusive limited craft beers. Early ticket sales start online tomorrow, May 1st! The Fort Collins Brewery (Ft. Collins) - May is Beer and Bacon Month and for the occasion they are bringing back their Mystery Beer. Stay tuned. Also in May they will be hosting 3 Tap Club limited beer releases in the tap room and Gravity 1020. Tomorrow, May 1st, they'll tap Edgar, a Märzen lager. Then on Friday, May 16th, they'll release two beers, "Altbier", a German Alt and "Any Day Session Ale". There's also a new Fort Collins Collaboration Beer tapping on May 12th. The Mayor of Old Town (Ft. Collins) - The remodeling is done and they are back open today. Grimm Brothers Brewhouse (Loveland) - Get ready for a MAIFEST Party! On Saturday, May 17th starting at 2pm, join in at Grimm Bros for the release of their Maibock Lager. They'll also have C'est MMM, a mobile creperie, on hand from 2-6pm. For National Women's Health Week they will donate $1 of every Maibock sold that day to Team STABOS (Save Them All Big Or Small). Dodgeton Creek Brewing Co (Trinidad) - This soon to open brewery will be hosting an event for Big Brew Day - Saturday, May 3rd at 9:00pm. This event will also serve an an open house for anyone in the area that wants to stop in and look around. THey will have some pizza from Bella Luna and snacks available during the day. Also, anyone that plans on participating in the home brewing event, please RSVP to the event on Facebook so that they know who to expect.

Lofty Brewing Co (Colorado Springs) - This production-only brewery will be participating in a Colorado Springs Tap Takeover today at Front Range BBQ in the Springs from 5pm to 9pm. Along with beers from Lofty Brewing, there will also be beers from Bristol Brewing, Pikes Peak Brewing, and Great Storm Brewing. Live Reggae Funk music will also be on hand starting at 7:30pm. Mountains and West

Dillon Dam Brewery (Dillon) - A little Spring Cleaning is happening. The brewery & restaurant will be closed from Sunday, May 4th at 3pm thru Friday, May 9th 3pm. They will re-open at 3pm May 9th all fresh and clean and ready to serve up the best beer and food in Dillon. Don't forget this Thursday is Open Mic Night at 9:30pm.
