Colorado Beer NewsToday is Weights and Measures Day. It's practically a beer holiday. Without weights and measures we'd have no idea just how many ABV's, IBU's, SRM's or OG/FG are in our favorite beers. So why not make it a craft beer holiday and celebrate with a craft beer that has all the right numbers you're looking for. Metro Denver

4 Noses Brewing Co (Broomfield) - This new brewery opened its doors on May 8th and is now planning to officially celebrate with a Grand Opening Party this weekend. They will be tapping a special firkin made with Cabernet grapes and Brettanomyces and 1 or 2 experimental beers. They'll also have multiple food trucks and are even planning a Beer Brunch for this Saturday, May 25th (details to be announced). There will be plenty of live music over the weekend as well. Copper Kettle Brewing Co (Denver) - Continuing with their May "Fruit Beer" Cask Month, Copper Kettle will be tapping a firkin of "Peach Golden Strong" this Wednesday, May 21st at 3pm. Something new and different every Wednesday. [338 S Valentia St, Unit 100, Denver, CO]

38 State Brewing Co (Littleton) - Lots of great beers on tap this week at 38 State Brewing Co. Tapping this Friday they will have their Broadway IPA, Two Buttes Double IPA, Great Plains Scottish Ale, and a brand new brew to 38 State - a Dunkel and their Littleton Kolsch, along with their Chocolate Stout reappearing on Sunday. Saint Patrick's Brewing Co (Englewood) - The brewery is putting some finishing touches on their new upcoming location. The new location will also have a large outdoor beer garden. They don't plan to relocate until later this summer (stay tuned for new location info). They will stay open in Englewood for the time being. Dad & Dude's Breweria (Aurora) - Best day of the week is Tuesday where you can get $2 beers and $2 slices of pizza. On tap today: Ryot Amber Rye Ale, Nitro Ryot Rye Ale, Dank IPA, Nitro Model Citizen Golden Ale, Marilyn Belgian Blonde, and Leaves of Lemongrass - plus 4 guest taps. TRVE Brewing (Denver) - TRVE Brewing just has one simple thing to say: "Prehistoric Dog - The Return - Friday May 23rd 2pm". That is all. In the meantime, currently on tap: Wanderlust, Scorn, Death Ripper, Stout O))), Black Cascade, Tunnel of Trees and Nazareth. [227 Broadway #101, Denver, CO]

Living The Dream Brewing Co (Littleton) - Progress is being made towards opening this new brewery. They've now got 5 fermentors, 14 bbl brite tanks, 49 barrels of fermentation capacity all in place. Rockyard Brewing (Castle Rock) - Looking ahead to the coming 3-day weekend, Rockyard will tap another in the long line of Jellyman's Deviations this Friday, May 23rd at 4pm. Stop in and try their "We' Hot-n-Heavy", a Scottish Wee Heavy Chili Ale. This is a BIG 8.5% ABV brew with a wallop of maltiness and sheer heat. Come help drain the firkin. Denver Beer Co (Denver) - Ever wanted to raise your own hops for a delicious brew? Now's your chance! Come in this Thursday for their 3rd Annual Hop Swap! Boulder Beer Co (Boulder) - Join in this Thursday, May 22nd at The West End Tavern (Boulder) from 6-7pm, for a special tapping of two collaboration beers with Kyle Hollingsworth from The String Cheese Incident! Sanitas Brewing (Boulder) - Mondays and Tuesdays can be rough, that's why there is beer. Plus, another way to unwind is by attending Brewhouse Yoga tonight at 6pm. Road 34 Bike Bar (Ft. Equinox Brewing expansionEquinox Brewing (Ft. Collins) - Now that Hops & Berries has relocated to 130 W Olive Street, Equinox is planning to greatly expand their indoor seating area and expand their bar. There will be new men's & women's restrooms, a new employee break room, a new stage for live music, a relocated outdoor beer garden and just a lot more elbow room to enjoy a craft beer in. The Mayor of Old Town (Ft. Collins) - The Mayor, the Beer Bettys and High Hops Brewery all got together to brew up a big collaboration brew called "High Hopes", a high ABV hopped Hefeweizen. This brew will be ready for tapping on June 4th at 5pm. Come prepared! Meanwhile, they've got 100 beers on tap to keep you busy until then. [632 S Mason St, Ft. Collins, CO]

Crabtree Brewing Co (Greeley) - This Friday, May 23rd at 5pm, Crabtree will tap another in their weekly firkin series. This time it's "Return of the JedIPA". In the meantime, tonight is Trivia. [2961 29th St, Greeley, CO]

City Star Brewing (Berthoud) - The 5th Annual Central Rockies Old-Time Music Association (CROMA) Rocky Mountain Old-Time Music Festival at Parrish Ranch in Berthoud is July 10-13th.
