Colorado Beer News 080814

Colorado Beer NewsToday is Dollar Day. Back on this date in 1786, the Continental Congress of the United States authorized the issuance of the US Dollar. Back then, a dollar could buy you a lot. Today, you can't buy much for a dollar. Instead, a dollar is usually mentioned as something you can get off as a discount or leave as a small tip. Times have changed. Here's to the George's in our wallets. Spend them on something good today like a Colorado craft beer. Here's what's happening around the Colorado beerosphere today Friday, August 8th, 2014. If you aren't reading this article on, you don't know what you're missing.

LandLocked Ales (Wheat Ridge) - LandLocked Ales is working to be Greater Denver's premier brewery with a focus on low gravity, quality ales. Despite the lower alcohol levels, their beers will be big on flavor. So you get to enjoy quality, hand-made ales without dealing with the draining effects of overconsumption. They are looking for help to raise extra capital for the brewery buildout. They have targeted a location in Wheat Ridge, west of downtown Denver, but it needs a little work. Please help them supply this area with a great neighborhood tap room and quality beer! Check out their Indiegogo page and see if you'd like to help out. Indigogo page.
