Colorado Beer News 082914

Colorado Beer NewsToday is According to Hoyle Day. It's a day to "get carded" (so to speak). Edmund Hoyle is the man who is credited with inventing the modern day 52-card playing deck back in the mid-1700s. His rules for card games became a standard. Today, there are hundreds of card games using the same 52-card deck. And even more card games that have created their own decks - like Magic the Gathering, Cards Against Humanity and more. So the next time you're playing cards today, no matter what kind - give a toast to Mr. Hoyle. Loser buys the next beer! Here's what's happening around the Colorado beerosphere today Friday, August 29th, 2014. If you aren't reading this article on, you don't know what you're missing.
