Colorado breweries once again show well at the 2014 #GABF. Over 55,000 people enjoyed the 33rd annual Great American Beer Festival (GABF) over the weekend. There were 268 Medals given out in 90 beer categories from the 5,500 beers judged this year. Locally, 34 different Colorado breweries collected 39 of those medals including 11 Bronze, 18 Silver, and 10 Gold. This number is down slightly from the 46 medals won in 2013, but the competition was even bigger and tougher this year with over 5,500 beers entered from 1309 different breweries. There were 52 first time medal winners this year also. Next year's GABF will be held on September 24-26, 2015 and will add 90,000 more square feet for brewers.
Here is the complete list of all Colorado GABF medal winners for 2014. Congrats to all participants!
