Colorado Beer NewsToday is International Stout Day. Turn to the dark side of beer! Today you are encouraged to find a new or favorite stout to drink and share the news of it with your friends, both online and in person. With so many stouts on the market these days you'll have no end to the possibilities. Choose from a dry stout, a milk stout, an imperial stout, an oatmeal stout, a chocolate stout, a barrel-aged stout or even one with coffee in it! Some go as far as making stouts with oysters or even Rocky Mountain Oysters. The dark side of beer can be oh so good! Grist Brewing Co (Highlands Ranch) - SURPRISE! They decided not to wait any longer and are releasing a new beer today. Former Future Brewing Co (Denver) - Happy International ‪‎Stout‬ Day! Who's imbibing? They suggest trying Putin's Brother, Brett, their Russian Imperial Stout aged with Brettanomyces. He's funky. Mockery Brewing (Denver) - It was an awesome time last night at their soft opening! Last minute touches are being done today getting ready for the Grand Opening November 7th at 3pm. Line up for tomorrow: 9 delicious beers on tap including: Blonde Ale, Peach Blonde Ale, Vanilla Bourbon Porter, Oaked Southern Hemisphere Ale, Rye Saison, Red Session IPA, Black IPA, Salted Scotch Ale, and a Pumpkin Ale. Mestizos will be serving Mexican fusion on site, and Gamma Acosta will be painting live. It will be a great kick off and First Friday.

Chain Reaction Brewing Co - BREAKING NEWS! In celebration of International Stout Day today they will be tapping a very, very limited amount of their rare and hard to come by Crème Brulee Imperial Milk Stout! Yep that's right this tap room fav is making a surprise return! Boulder Festivus (Boulder) - Denver has had a beer Festivus for 2 years and now Boulder is getting its very own. Come join in for this celebration of beer, food and music. 300 Suns Brewing (Longmont) - In honor of International Stout Day, they are doing $1 off pints today, 10oz pours and growlers of their Old Burlington Stout AND $1 off pints and 10oz pours of our Vanilla Coffee Stout (get it while it lasts!) all day today. Avery Brewing Co (Boulder) - Coming up on Sunday, November 16th at 1pm at the Avery Tap Room will be the bottle release of TWEAK - a stout with coffee added and aged in bourbon barrels. This is a big 17.81% ABV beer that was previously only available in limited quantity on draft, now in 12oz bottles. Bottles will be $12 each and a limit of 1 case per person. Also, other rare beers will be on draft the same day. Also, coming up on December 14th is a double tap room release of Spontanea Barrel-Aged Wild Ale with Cabernet Sauvignon grape must (No. 24) and Einzigartig Barrel-Aged Wild Ale with Riesling grape must (No. 25). Crabtree Brewing Co (Greeley) - With all of the new beer releases we have coming out, we have decided to bring back the 462 Beer Club! What is the Crabtree 462 Beer Club? It's a free beer club! Members are notified first of new releases and have the option to reserve bottles of special releases. The 462 Club pre-release happens before the general release to the tap house. This special release includes a party with appetizers, samples of the new brew with the brewers, and the ability to take your reserved bottles home that day. To sign up for the club, just follow the link below. After you have reserved your spot in the club all you have to do is purchase at least two bottles of each new beer during the release. To keep membership in the club you will need to purchase at least two bottles of each new beer during the release time.
