Metro Denver

Rock Bottom Brewery (Denver) - Here are a couple upcoming beer tappings for the coming month. On Wednesday, November 19th at 6pm, they will tap a special BATCH 4000. This one's a secret, so you'll have to be there to see what it is. Get a free glass of it between 6pm and 6:30pm that day. Also, on Wednesday, December 3rd at 6pm, they will tap their holiday ale: WICKED ELF ALE. There will be a specialty food menu to go along with that. Again, a free glass of it that day from 6pm to 6:30pm. A portion of the proceeds of this beer will benefit the Parade of Lights in downtown Denver. [1001 16th St, Unit A-100, Denver, CO]

CAUTION: Brewing Co (Lakewood & Denver) - They have a couple of very special events tonight at CAUTION: West! Lakewood's very own Tom Quinn from 5-7pm will be signing his new Civil War book - American Massacre, Fort Pillow and the Day That Changed a War. Come meet Tom in person and check out his new book! Also from 6-10pm, they're hosting the very first Boxwood Wooden Pinball Tournament! They'll have their latest ‪#‎ExBeeriment‬ on tap as well at both locations - Galaxy Pale Ale, perfect for a Thursday night at CAUTION! Mountain Toad Brewing (Golden) - Honey Brown Ale is the tadpole of the day! No food truck service with these cold temps so pack some food in or they can order something to be delivered to the taproom for you. Come warm up at Mountain Toad! [900 Washington Ave, Golden, CO]

Beethoven and Brews (Denver) - Announcing the return of Beethoven and Brews, an original fundraising series that celebrates music and Colorado beer while supporting the Colorado Symphony. Tickets are now on sale for the next Beethoven and Brews event, to be held Thursday, December 4, from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm, at VFW Post #1 Gallery, located in the Santa Fe Arts District. The event is sponsored by Renegade Brewery, which will provide with 4oz samples of their signature beers. In keeping with a holiday spirit, guests are encouraged to wear "ugly" holiday sweaters; sponsor Buffalo Exchange will have sweaters available for loan -- and modeling in a photo booth. Launched in 2013, Beethoven and Brews features small ensembles of Colorado Symphony musicians performing in casual, non-traditional venues, including art galleries and local breweries. Patrons enjoy an exclusive beer tasting paired with light hors d’oeuvres and musical performances. Proceeds from Beethoven and Brews support the Colorado Symphony. This December, the Colorado Symphony welcomes Imbibe, a Denver-based craft events company, as a partner in Beethoven and Brews. Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 on site/day of, and include four 4-oz pours. Additional beverage and a signature Beethoven and Brews pint glasses will be available for purchase. Arvada Beer Co (Arvada) - Today they are releasing their Saison, 7.3% abv. This farmhouse ale has a slight citrus flavor. Monday they will bring back the Harvest Fest Pumpkin Ale. Next Friday, November 21st, they will release this years Jolly Holiday Ale. Over 9% abv, with notes of Mulling spice, coco and vanilla. [5600 Old Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO]

Joyride Brewing Co (Edgewater) - New beer alert! Introducing The Pale MickALE! This American Pale Ale is named after their good friend Andy Mickelson who donated to their cause during their Kickstarter campaign two years ago. They used generous amounts of Willamette and East Kent Goldings with a touch of Citra. Coming in at 6% abv, this is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Come try one and give Andy a high five tonight! 4 Noses Brewing Co (Broomfield) - There's a Barrel Release tonight! Come taste their Bourbon Barrel Imperial Pumpkin ales aged with whole vanilla beans. No food truck tonight due to the cold so BYOF! [8855 W 116 Cir, Broomfield, CO]

Elk Mountain Brewing (Parker) - They are tapping a new beer tonight. Stop in and check out their Imperial Red called "Red Dare". They dare ya! [18921 Plaza Dr, Parker, CO]

Baere Brewing Co (Denver) - Guess what's back? Their Farmhouse and Big Hopp Brown are now back on tap. Whiskey Barrel Big Hoppy still is pouring too! Fight the cold with a few of these tonight from 5-9pm. [320 Broadway Ste E, Denver, CO]

Oskar Blues Grill & Brew (Lyons) - The 12th ‪‎CANiversary‬ is almost here! 12 years of ‪#CANarchy‬ with a party where it all started at Oskar Blues Grill & Brew | Lyons, CO on Saturday, Nov. 22nd. Come listen to tunes from Judge Roughneck & Eufórquestra and get down on some specialty canned brews. Großen Bart Brewery (Longmont) - Grossen Bart Brewery is officially OPEN FOR BUSINESS with at least 6 beers on tap! Come on in today for a Fu Manchu Foreign Stout and a Beard or Mustache trim from the ladies at Floyd's 99 Barbershop Longmont,Colorado! Left Hand Brewing Co (Longmont) - Oak Aged Wake Up Dead is back! Their Russian Imperial Stout aged on oak will return to the Tasting Room tomorrow evening November 14th at 5pm. The Old Mine (Erie) - Stop in for a new cider tapping - Pyrite, a bourbon barrel fermented imperial handlebar hard cider. According to their blog: "This Pyrite is the same batch from a few months ago – a result of 10.5%+ ABV Imperial Handlebar Hard Cider fermented and aged in a Breckenridge Bourbon Barrel for seven months. It’s like the apples ascended to Barrel Heaven, then returned to earth for us to enjoy. Once this batch is finished, the next Pyrite tapping won’t be until 2015 (with one that has been sitting in a Breckenridge Barrel for an entire year). Northern Colorado

Funkwerks (Ft. Collins) - Today they tapped an Australian Hop Flight - five different variations on the same beer that they want you to help rank. They will be on tap through Monday. Snowbank Brewing Co (Ft. Collins) - The snow has ceased for the moment and the ice on the roads is finally starting to melt. That means it's so much easier to get over to the taproom and enjoy a pint. Umami Mobile Eatery is joining them today from 2pm until close with their Asian fusion cuisine. Purchase anything from the food truck and get a dollar off a pint of Smirking Lantern Pumpkin Ale to pair! Tomorrow, Friday November 14th at 5pm brings another Nuance Chocolate collaboration - Gingerbread Chocolate Porter. Their Chocolate Covered Cherry Porter last week ran out in two hours. Fort Collins Brewery (Ft. Collins) - Spend your Sundays with FCB! On the first and third Sunday of each month FCB will be hosting Brewery Yoga with a portion of the proceeds going to local nonprofit FoCo Cafe! For $15, their brewery yoga friends will participate in an hour long power yoga session followed up with a well deserved FCB brew or Bloody Mary! Classes are limited to 15 people, register online! Dodgeton Creek Brewing Co (Trinidad) - It may be cold outside but its warm in the taproom! This week's tap list features Extra Pale Ale, India Pale Ale, Rapture Pale Ale, Scottish Ale, Coffee Porter, Stout, Milk Stout and Red Ale. Thursday's hours are 2:00pm to 8:00pm.
