What do you call your favorite electronic device? (Other than a swear word when it doesn't work right that is). Let's just hope they don't become self-aware anytime soon. Here's what's happening around the Colorado craft beer scene today Thursday, November 20th, 2014. If you aren't reading this article on, you don't know what you're missing.

Renegade Brewing Company, located in Denver, will be starting out-of-state sales in December by launching distribution to Kansas. Previously the small brewery was self-distributed along the front range where it grew recognition for beers such as Redacted Rye IPA and Elevation Triple IPA. After signing on with Elite Brands of Colorado, they proceeded to increase their presence in Colorado. For the last 5 months Renegade has been renovating a 15,000 square foot production space at 1st and Santa Fe. This compound once housed Stark Lumber yard who is vacating the space after 120 years of business. Renegade is moving fermentation and packaging to the new space on 1st and Santa Fe and will soon offer tours. Their current home on 9th and Santa Fe will continue to house the tasting room that is open 7 days a week. Neighboring Kansas will be their first step in interstate commerce. Renegade has signed on with Worldwide Wine and Spirits in Lexena, KS. Worldwide currently distributes other Colorado breweries such as Avery, Great Divide, Left Hand, and Twisted Pine.
