Comrade Brewing Co (Denver) - This Friday, December 5th, Comrade Brewing will be releasing a new beer "Bernstein", a European-style Amber dry-hopped with Hallertau Mittelfruh. This beer has a bright copper color with a richly layered bready malt body and a mild, yet spicy noble hop aroma with floral and citrus tones. It finishes dry with a balanced bitterness. Living The Dream Brewing (Littleton) - The brewery is planning to release three new beers this month. First up is their "Monster IPA", a tripel IPA on December 3rd (today). Then, this Friday, December 5th they will release "Bock C470", a collaborative interpretation of a Weizenbock. Then later this month they will unveil "Festivus Fireside Ale", their first seasonal release of a malty English Old Ale. [12305 Dumont Way, Unit A, Littleton, CO]

Dad & Dude's Breweria (Aurora) - In thanks to their fans for helping them win Best Brewpub for the 3rd year, they will be hosting their FREE BEER DAY this Friday December 5th. Stop in and get one free beer per adult. They will also have their Holiday Gumbo available on the menu that day as an extra bonus. Also, mark down Sunday, December 21st for their DANKpacolypse & Ugly Sweater Party. There will be a special tapping of DANK and glassware for the first 100 guests. Wit's End Brewing (Denver) - Come help celebrate the release of their beloved winter ale "Ugly Sweater" by rocking your ugly sweater in the taproom on Friday, December 5th. Bring a can of food as well and get a raffle ticket for prizes throughout the evening including a pass to the Denver Beer Festivus! (one raffle ticket per can of food) They will also crown the king or queen of ugly sweaters at 7:00pm! Pride of Philly Cheesesteaks will be providing their amazing sammies and taproom hours will be extended slightly from 2-9 PM ish. Barrels & Bottles Brewery (Golden) - There's a new beer release scheduled for this Friday, December 5th. "Obsess Much? Stout" is a sweet stout brewed with dark Belgian candy syrup, PB2 (Powdered peanut butter) and cocoa nibs added post fermentation. Stats: 6.3% ABV and 35 IBUs. This brew was inspired by Abby's relentless obsession with stouts, peanut butter, marshmallows and chocolate. [600 12th St, Golden, CO]

Former Future Brewing Co (Denver) - Stop in on Friday, December 5th for the debut of another pilot series beer. This time they're tapping: Chilehouse #4, a brew made with roasted jalapenos. Also, look for their sour red ale "Twin Ruby" to be bottled and released soon. [1290 S Broadway, Denver, CO]

River North Brewery (Denver) - [PRESS RELEASE] River North’s renowned whiskey barrel stout, Barrel Aged Avarice, returns for its third incarnation! A Belgian-style Imperial Stout aged one year in rye and bourbon whiskey barrels, the 2014 Barrel Aged Avarice release party is set for Saturday, December 13th in the brewery taproom. To celebrate, they’ll pour a three-year vertical of this revered beer starting at 1pm! The 2012 keg, the last of its kind, is the longest-held River North keg in existence. “As a base beer, Avarice is such a dry imperial stout,” Head Brewer Matt Hess said. “Barrel aging lends the perfect amount of oaky sweetness and balance." Bottles of the 2014 vintage will also be available at the release party. Bombers will cost $15 with a half-case limit. More bombers will hit store shelves in Kansas City and Colorado in the following weeks. Rich with notes of bitter chocolate, toffee and vanilla, this year’s Barrel Aged Avarice finished at 11.5% ABV. Hops & Pie (Denver) - It's $2 Craft Can Night tonight from 5pm to close. This Friday, December 5, upon opening they will release Naughty Noël, a spiced Belgian-style Holiday Ale at ALL FIVE of their Brewery/Taproom Locations: Mountain Sun, Southern Sun, Vine St., Under The Sun and the newest Long's Peak Pub will all have some. Fort Collins Brewery & Tavern (Ft. Collins) - Changes are happening over at FCB. In a Press Release issued today, FCB announced that their Gravity 1020 Modern Tavern inside of FCB is changing it's name and essentially merging operations back into the brewery. 1933 Brewing Co (Ft. Collins) - Time to Party like it's 1933! The name of their brewery might be a hint that they like to celebrate the year 1933. If you did not know already, on December 5, 1933, the U.S. Constitution's 21st Amendment repealed the 18th Amendment ending prohibition. The staff at 1933 Brewing Company like to celebrate that day everyday but in particular on the actual holiday. So what better way to celebrate than to throw one heck of a party?? On Friday, December 5, 2014, from 5-8pm, 1933 Brewing Company is hosting their first repeal day celebration party and are calling it the Bootlegger's Ball. When you arrive at the party you will notice some changes, such as you will be entering their taproom from the side door and you will be asked by the doorman what you are there for. Do not fret, you are in the right place! Just tell the doorman you are there for Z's Food Drive. That is the password. Ironically, they are actually collecting donations (monetary and canned goods) for the Food Bank of Larimer County. They encourage you to dress up in 1930s attire, but no worries if you do not. Black Bottle Brewery (Ft. Collins) - Today BBB collaborated with Verboten Brewing and brewed up a batch of a black with they are calling "I'm On A Boat". This brew has zest from Cuties, Indian coriander, and Saigon Cinnamon. The beer will be available on December 20th at both locations, just in time for Black Bottle's 2nd Anniversary Party. Fieldhouse Brewing Co (Colorado Springs) - Fieldhouse Brewing is excited about their Test Tap Wednesday offering - an Imperial IPA called "Dirty Dozen", made with 12 different hops.
