Goldspot Brewing Co - It's official! Their Grand Opening has been set for THIS SATURDAY, February 21st. They will be open from 12pm to 10pm that day with at least 6 beers on tap. They plan to offer several year-round beers including an IPA, a German Blonde, a Stout, a Wheat, an ESB, and a Red IPA. Plus, they plan to do some seasonals including a Farmhouse Ale, a Thanksgiving Ale, a California Common, an Imperial Stout. AND, they also will have non-alcoholic drinks too like a Root Beer, a Cream Soda and an Italian Soda. They've invited Basic Kneads (food truck) to be there as well slinging great pizza too. Black Shirt Brewing Co - Remember their little side project with Denver Film Company and Evergroove Studio titled Now Playing? Well, BSB just released the latest video in the series and it feature's Denver's own Covenhoven. The first full half hour episode will be released this Saturday, Feb 21st, at Black Shirt Brewing Co at 8:00 pm and then on Colorado Public Television at 10:00 pm. BSB will have a keg of "Shadows of the Pines Porter" on tap as well - a beer inspired by the story and music of Covenhoven. [3719 Walnut St, Denver, CO]

New Kids on the Block Beer Festival - [PRESS RELEASE] Imbibe Events,, Denver Off The Wagon and The LOBBY will host the third annual New Kids on the Block Beer Festival on Thursday, March 26 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at The Lobby (2191 Arapahoe Street). As part of Colorado Craft Beer Week, New Kids on the Block is the only event focusing on breweries that have opened most recently. In order to participate, a brewery must be under two years old on the day of the festival. This year the event is adding a three-course beer dinner VIP session. The first course is a potato cheddar ale soup. The second course will be a confit pork belly with sweet potato hash and cinnamon applesauce. For dessert, guests will enjoy bread pudding with salted caramel. Beers will be paired from breweries participating in the festival. The VIP session will begin at 6 p.m. After the dinner, general admission ticket holders will join in to party like it’s 1985 and enjoy brews from 20 Colorado breweries. Early bird tickets are on sale now. VIP Tickets (Beer Dinner + Festival) are $40 and general admission (all you can drink) are $25. Hops & Pie - Today's new beer tappings include: Sea Monster from Ballast Point, Five from Crazy Mountain, Dawn of the Red from Ninkasi and Bigfoot from Sierra Nevada. PLUS! Pliny the Younger is coming back! Pliny the Younger will be tapped Tuesday February 24th at 1pm. They will hand out tickets at 11:30am sharp when the doors open. If you receive one of said tickets you are guaranteed a 10 oz pour, you do not have to be present at 1pm, you just have to return at some point Tuesday WITH your ticket. Renegade Brewing Co - Want to get a tour of their new production facility at The Yard On Sante Fe? They'll be doing tours on Fridays from 1-4pm and Saturdays from 1-4pm. Former Future Brewing Co - The good folks at Denver Off The Wagon is celebrating their blog's 4th year anniversary and to celebrate, they will be tapping their 4th Anniversary collaboration beer they did with the brewery called "4x4" at Former Future tomorrow, February 19th. SUDS for SIDS - Make sure you grab tickets for the 3rd Annual Suds For Sids this Friday, February 20th! All proceeds will go toward Angel Eyes, which is an organization that provides free grief support services to those who have experienced the sudden loss of an infant or toddler. Jagged Mountain Craft Brewery - Today there's a new guest beer being tapped at Jagged Mountain. It was a beer that was brewed by Isaac and James from Prosst Brewing Company. It's called "Quickdraw Kolsch". Stop in and drink one! [1139 20th St, Denver, CO]

Nighthawk Brewery - Today they will be releasing a limited (2 kegs only) batch of Herb Saison, a saison made with Lacto. This is a tart beer made without hops and includes rosemary, dill weed and black pepper to balance it out. Plus, look forward to these beers coming out soon: Berliner Weisse and Session Porter. Golden City Brewery - For the last week or so, their tasting room has been undergoing a big remodeling. The work is now nearly complete and they plan to host a "Grand Re-Opening Party" on Saturday, March 7th starting at 11:30am. They now have 2 bathrooms, an expanded seating area and more taps! Lone Tree Brewing Co - A reminder that their Longshanks' Wee Heavy taps today. It's a big beer weighing in at 7.5% ABV and 25 IBUs. You'll want to try it. Growlers are allowed! The Wing Wagon Grill will be there serving up wings, burgers, ribs and more starting at 5pm. Upslope Brewing Co - [PRESS RELEASE] Upslope Brewing Company will release the third volume of their quarterly limited release Lee Hill Series Thursday, February 19th at the brewery's original Lee Hill tap room in North Boulder. The Barrel Aged Imperial Stout continues to the celebration of experimentation and creativity that has become the trademark of Upslope's small-batch brewery. The Lee Hill Series Volume 3 Barrel Aged Imperial Stout was brewed to be aged in Leopold Bros. Maryland Rye Whiskey barrels. Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery - Today at all 5 locations, you can get get some of the Stout Month 2015 Home Brew Competition winning beer! Stop in to try "Daisy's Raspberry Chipotle Stout". It's got flavors of coffee and chocolate with a smoky character from the chipotles and some tart and sweet flavors from the raspberries. It's 6.3% ABV and is $5 per pint or $2 for a sampler. Fort Collins Brewery - [PRESS RELEASE] Fort Collins, Colo. – FCB (Fort Collins Brewery) is excited to announce the release of its latest Malt Monster brew, Giles, Golden Imperial Ale Friday, A villainous monster, Giles, Golden Imperial Ale may be a light-bodied brew, but he’s as complex of a creature as any. New Belgium Brewing - [PRESS RELEASE] New Belgium Brewing’s infamous Mountain Adventure series, formally known as the Scavenge Series, is back. It’s a downhill scavenger hunt like no other and in 2015 it will travel to six mountain resorts in four states, with each stop benefiting a local nonprofit. The 2015 series will stop at three different Colorado ski resorts: Arapahoe Basin on March 7, Loveland on March 28 and Winter Park on April 4. This is New Belgium’s ninth year coordinating slope-side scavenger hunts. The funds raised from the Arapahoe Basin stop will go to High Country Conservation Center, an organization that promotes practical solutions for waste reduction and resource conservation in the Colorado mountain community. Funds from Winter Park will go to Paradox Sports, which provides specialized adaptive equipment so that those with physical handicaps can actively participate in all sports; and the Loveland Mountain Adventure will benefit Alliance for Sustainable Colorado, which works to transforms sustainability from vision to reality. “New Belgium’s Mountain Adventure series raises money for some great causes, while providing the most fun you can possibly have on the slopes,” said Shawn Hines, New Belgium’s Pharoah of Phlow. “This is a day where you get to don your best costume, chase chickens, search for Bigfoot, solve ridiculous riddles and bond with old and new friends. It’s wintery shenanigans at its finest.” - Throughout the day, participants will search the mountain for moving and stationary clues that focus on New Belgium beer and culture, sustainability and the benefiting nonprofit. Questions vary from easy to difficult and the team with the most points at the end of the day wins. Costumes get extra points, so don’t forget to add a little sparkle and flare to your winter gear. Teams can have one to four people, consisting of longtime friends or first-time pals who meet in line. The event costs $10 per person in addition to the price of a lift ticket. Snowbank Brewing Co - There's a secret signature Nuance Chocolate collaboration beer going to be added to the tap lineup for their upcoming 6-Month Anniversary party set for this Sunday, February 22nd from 10am to 6pm. Also, they will be tapping 4 different 1-off beers, 1 every other hour. Plus, they'll have a Solar Panel bar where you can make your own blends of Moon Arete Wheat with a variety of fresh juices, as well as a handful of special releases throughout the day. Staci is the co-owner of Wynn's Honey and was recently diagnosed with stage 4 B-cell non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Climb Hard Cider Company uses her honey to make their Honey Apple Cider.
