Colorado Beer NewsHope you enjoyed your right to drink beer yesterday for National Beer Day. Extend that right by having another beer today! Bull & Bush Brewery - The next beer on tap in their Lineup Series is Zeb's Double IPA. It's on tap now and in bottles. This is a limited release. Also, their 4.0 GPA (Grapefruit Pale Ale) is back on tap. Now anyone can have a 4.0 GPA. [4700 E Cherry Creek South Dr, Denver, CO]

Grist Brewing Co - Grist Brewing Company will be releasing it's Giant Rabbit Belgian Dark Strong this Friday April 10th! That's no ordinary rabbit! In the meantime, have you tried their recently released Penny Lane Double IPA with Camomile? It's based on a secret recipe from a homebrew competition. Big Choice Brewing - The brewhouse has recently expanded with the addition of two new 30bbl fermenters. They still have one 7bbl fermenter left. As for rolling out canned beers, they are now canning their 10,000 Summers Saison and have revamped their #42 Poblano Stout. Plus, they gave their Disconnected Red cans a slight facelift. Coming this summer, they will also can their Pinhead Pilsner in 12oz 6-packs. Plus, mark your calendars for Saturday, May 2nd - that's the date set for their 3rd Anniversary Celebration @ The Old Man - 4381 120th Ave in Broomfield, CO. They'll start at 9am with a 5K Fun Run. Wonderland Brewing Co - Summer can't be far off as Wonderland Brewing is now offering "Dandy Shandy", an American Wheat mixed with lemon peel and lemonade. Upslope Brewing Co - The Upslope Get Down Music Festival is Back - Saturday, May 16th. Join in for the 2nd Annual Upslope Get Down, a FREE music festival with beer and food on Saturday, May 16 from 1:00 pm – 11:00 pm at their Flatiron Park brewery. They’re taking over the back parking lot to bring you eight bands on two stages for continuous music all day long + a core lineup of Upslope brews and food by various local food trucks. Sanitas Brewing - Their "Bird Of Prey" Double IPA has migrated away for the season and in it's place they have put up another powerful bird - "Screech Owl" Bourbon Barrel Double Stout. Echo Brewing Co - Stop by the Frederick location for a special firkin tapping tonight. They'll be tapping a Kiwi-infused Black IPA tonight. Southern Colorado

Trinity Brewing - Today marks the release of their 2nd in their 7th anniversary series of single brett beers - Magical Brettanomyces Tour #2 - Brett Brux. With their 7th Anniversary Project they've developed a series of 7 unique beers with the same base Saison recipe built with amaranth, lemon grass, grains of paradise, and rose hips. Each individual beer within this series is fermented from start to finish with 100% Brettanomyces and aged on French oak Chardonnay barrels. Each beer within this project is fermented with a single unique Brett, showcasing the dramatic diversity of the organism. This Brettanomyces bruxellensis version is heavy with a drying leather bitterness, light nuttiness, and farmhouse wool blanket. 5.6% ABV; extremely rare. Also, on Friday April 10th is the release of Mr. Saison, Saison Vieille. Inspired by native ingredients found during a local hike in Colorado, this beer won best of show in the "Beers Made by Walking" competition in 2012. Their use of amaranth grain imparts a toasty presence in the malt bill, mustard seed lends a nice spiciness to the beer that is balanced with a light citrus from lemon grass and an implied dried cherry essence from the use of rose hips. 5.6% ABV. Paradox Beer Co - Paradox Beer Co made a special X-Batch (experimental beer) just for Adam's Mountain Cafe in Manitou Springs - an exclusive 5 gallon batch of Barrel Aged Sour Orange Creamsicle, a white wine bbl-aged sour golden ale made with orange peel and real vanilla. Bonfire Brewing - This week was bottling week for their Bière de Garde (beer for keeping). Look for this beer to be in stores in the next couple of weeks. It's been selling well on tap since March at the brewery. [127 Second St, Eagle, CO]

Pagosa Brewing Co - Pagosa Brewing has a new Belgian bier tapping this Saturday, April 11th - Alpine Abbey Blanche - billed as a classic Belgian White Bier made with bitter orange peel and spices. Mug Club Members already have access to this brew. [118 N Pagosa Blvd, Pagosa Springs, CO]
