Metro Denver

Spangalang Brewery - Today is the official 1st day of business at Spangalang Brewery in the Five Points Plaza area of Denver. The brewery will have several beers on tap today including two different IPAs, a Belgian Dubbel, a Belgian table beer, a big imperial stout, a wine barrel aged stout, and a saison. Plus more to come. The brewery is starting off with a 10 barrel brewing system and is owned by former employees of Great Divide Brewing Company. Drop by for a visit soon. [2736 Welton St, Denver, CO]

Falling Rock Tap House - For the Rockies' Opening Day tomorrow in Denver, Falling Rock will be opening up early at 10am on Friday April 10th. Odell Brewing Company will also be there out in the parking lot serving beers all day long including: Odell IPA, Easy Street Wheat, 90 Shilling, Myrcenary, Runoff Red IPA and Tree Shaker. The parking lot bar will also be open on Saturday and Sunday before the game. It's just a short walk from Coors Field on Blake Street. [1919 Blake St, Denver, CO]

Living The Dream Brewing Co - There'll be a returning beer coming back to the taps tomorrow, Friday April 10th - Empty Trophy Case IPA. This is an American-style IPA brewed with Simcoe, Meridian and Zythos hops. Then plan to return on Saturday for LTDBC's Crawfish Boil. It's a big 1st-come 1st served crawfish boil featuring over 400 pounds of live crawfish. Cost is $29.99 per plate for the complete Cajun Experience. 38 State Brewing Co - [Newsletter] Saturday, May 9, will be 38 State Brewing Company's ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! The time has flown by and they are excited to share their successes of the past year with Colorado beer lovers from near and far. Just one month away! They will have two bands playing that day: Black and Blue Guys, and OAK, as well as amazing food from The Hamborghini food truck (gourmet burgers and fries). Grandma's House - Starting tomorrow, Friday April 10th at 6pm, Grandma's House will be tapping "Cut of Your Jib", one of the first sake beers produced in Colorado. With the help of the brewers from Gaijin 24886 (Colorado's soon to be first sake brewery), they developed a unique beer that combines the flavor and subdued hop presence of a Munich Helles and the light fruit and dryness of a ginjo sake. Jagged Mountain Craft Brewery - If you're attending Rockies Opening Day (or even if you're not), you're gonna be thirsty tomorrow. Front Range Brewing Co - Today is Thirsty Thursday and you can stop in for pints of their Berliner Weiss. Drink it straight up or ask for a splash of raspberry or blackberry syrup. Also, still some Chocolate Cherry Coconut Coffee Porter left, but hurry - it's going fast! Today's special is a $10 growler fill of their Bison Brown Ale, ALTitude Red and Irish Stout beers. Liquid Mechanics Brewing Co - Recently LMBC polled their fans on what beers they prefer most and the results are in and the top choices are going to be packaged in bomber bottles. Left Hand Brewing Co - If you love Left Hand's Sawtooth Ale, then you're definitely gonna love its big brother "Chainsaw Ale", a double verion of Sawtooth. This is a double ESB with an aroma of spicy and herbal hops. There's just 1 keg of it however - no more bottles either - so get one off their tap line as soon as humanly possible. Vindication Brewing Co - Buried deep inside of everyone (especially after a beer or two) is a budding musician or singer waiting to burst out. Crow Hop Brewing Co - A beer that Jimi Hendrix would have loved - Purple Haze, a blackberry wheat beer will hit the taps tomorrow on Friday, April 10th - just in time for the Rockies Home Opening vs. the Chicago Cubs. Black Bottle Brewery - Almost everyone has heard of the famous character Friar Tuck. Well, now you can have a brew named after his lesser known sibling: Friar Chuck. Friar Chuck is a Kolsch-style brew and it will be released tonight at 5:30pm at Black Bottle Brewery. Actually, this beer is named in honor of Chuck Nook. Come sip one for Chuck! Pateros Creek Brewing Co - Today's Outlaw beer tap is "Thairannosaur", an easy drinking beer with ginger, lemongrass, coriander and lemon zest. Dillon Dam Brewery - Now on tap: Sesh-O-Rado, a collaboration session IPA that they brewed along with the help of Sanitas Brewing of Boulder, CO and The Baker's Brewery. After all, three brewery collaborators are better than one! This one is an easy drinking IPA with fruit forward hop notes from Eldorado Hops. [100 Little Dam Rd, Dillon, CO]

Elevation Beer Co - Elevation Beer has a new Spring seasonal beer now on store shelves in big 750ml bottles. Look for "Raspberry Gulch", an imperial saison with raspberries. This is a big brew weighing in at 8.15% ABV and a modestly bittered 25 IBUs. Also available in 1/6th and 1/2 barrel draft kegs. [115 Pahlone Pkwy, Poncha Springs, CO]
