Website: www.denver.org/denver-beer-fest/
You're not going to disappear in the Denver Beer Triangle, but it is easy to get lost in the fine, handcrafted beers, ales, stouts and porters found along the way. Located at the base of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, the area between Denver, Boulder and Fort Collins is often called the "Napa Valley of Beer." Here you'll find Coors Brewery, the largest single brewery in the world, as well as some six-dozen other award-winning brewpubs and microbreweries. Every year, in conjunction with the Great American Beer Festival, Denver throws a week-long Denver Beer Fest. Look for special beer events and tappings all over the metro area and also throughout the Boulder and Fort Collins areas.

11th Annual Fresh Hop Fest

Cost: $40 + online fees.
Website: www.twoparts.com/event/fresh-hop-2016/
The beer-centric minds of the Colorado Brewer's Guild and Two Parts have done it again! We bring to you: The 11th Annual Fresh Hop Festival presented by Falling Rock Tap House and Molly's Spirits. This year's event has landed in a new and improved location—the old Golden Bell Press building, and the future home of Liberati Brewing is located just a few blocks from Falling Rock. This event showcases a medley of fresh hopped beers created by breweries from across the country. The majority of beers will come from the greater Colorado area, but some out-of-state guests will grace us with their presence as well! What in the heck is a fresh hopped beer? Here’s the timeline… Hops growers have about 24 hours to get the hops from the farm to the brewery’s drying kiln before they start showing signs of spoilage. But if these hops are utilized within that 24-hour window, then eureka, we’ve got ourselves one heck of a beer! These beers are exciting because each one is different, all have varied levels of hoppy flavor, and are super exclusive due to the fresh hop process.
