BRU Boulder - The date for BRU's next beer dinner has been set for Wednesday, August 10th at 7pm. Enjoy a Four Course meal, each course served with a different BRU beer. Course 1 is Patacones with confit pork bell, cotija & spicy cream paired with BRU's Maiboch. Course 2 is Mahi Mahi Ceviche with avacado, radish, jicama, and tortilla chips served with BRU/Twisted Pine Imperial Saison. Course 3 is Chicken Enchilada with salsa verde, aged cheddar, salsa fresca and rice & beans served with BRU Tang C.R.E.A.M. Ale. Crystal Springs Brewing Company - The town of Louisville and their Chamber of Commerce will sponsor their first annual Homebrew Contest, a new event at their Pints in the Park event. If you or anyone you know brews their own beer, this is an opportunity you won't want to pass up! The grand prize winner will have the chance to showcase their beer at Crystal Springs Brewing Company! This event is free to entry but limited to 16 entries! Fate Brewing Company will officially launch their new Barrel Room at a party this Thursday, August 4th from 11am to close at the brewery. The 2,500 square foot expansion is finally complete and to start things off, they will tap a new collaboration brew they did with Funkwerks (Ft Collins) called "Dark Sour Saison". Liquid Mechanics Brewing Company - Join in this Thursday Aug. 4th for national IPA day! LMBC will have 5 IPA's on tap including their Habanero Imperial IPA, Liquid Mechanics IPA, Belgian Double IPA, a new Mango IPA, and a sneak peak at their Avery Brewing collaboration beer. The collaboration beer is their third iteration of theirr Sucka Punch series (name still pending) and is a juicy, hoppy, IPA. Odd13 Brewing - Heads up! The taproom will be closed this Friday in order to host a private event. Sorry. But, they will have a big Anniversary Party this Saturday from Noon to 11pm! Rowdy Mermaid - It's not beer (exactly), nor cider, nor mead - it's Kombucha Beer! Announcing the debut of Rowdy Mermaid's Wild Sour Dry Hopped Kombucha Beer! Rowdy Mermaid is the first kombucha-maker in the Boulder region to produce an alcoholic version of this tea-based fermented beverage. Rowdy Mermaid is also the first kombucha-maker in Colorado to receive a liquor license. All other kombucha is typically very low alcohol (below 1% ABV) - but not this one - it weighs in at 7.5% ABV. Their Wild Sour Dry Hopped Kombucha Beer tastes like a Belgian-style sour lambic. It will be available exclusively at Rowdy Mermaid’s tap room for now but retail sales of the original brew are expected later in the year. Rowdy Mermaid is licensed to manufacture and sell 3.2% abv kombucha, high alcohol kombucha, kombucha beer and jun. Taproom located at: 2516 49th St, Unit 2, Boulder, CO.

Sanitas Brewing - Their Hibiscus Deluge sour ale went on tap yesterday. It's the latest release in their Deluge barrel program. This brew will remind you of hibiscus tea with a spicy aroma and a faint pink color. Every 1st Monday of the month they release a new brew in this series. Upslope Brewing Company - Tis the season for fall seasonals (yes already!) and Upslope has just release their annual Pumpkin Ale on draft and in 12oz 4-pack cans. The pumpkin harvests are starting to come in and they sourced their gourds from Munson Farms this year. Enjoy the taste of the harvest now through the end of Fall. Then, coming up this Saturday, Black Bottle will release their latest 100% Brett IPA called "Band-aids Don't Fix Bullet Holes". It taps at 11am for you early birds. To go along with that, they are also releasing their new "I Heart Brett" shirts. If you buy a shirt you'll get a Free Brett IPA! Offer good August 6, 2016 only from 11am til close.
