Fort Collins Breweries
Black Bottle Brewery - Black Bottle Brewery will be pouring sessionable beers at this weekend's "SESH FEST" down in Denver on Saturday from 2pm to 6pm. Visit the August Beer Fest Calendar for details. It's an entire festival serving up all the best sessionable (lower ABV) beers. It's happening at the Masonic Events Center - 3550 Federal Boulevard in Denver, CO. They hope to see you there. Meanwhile back in FoCo, their taproom is open today from 11am to 10pm. Fort Collins Brewery - Plan to join FCB in the tasting room every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 6pm to 8pm for another in a series of talks called "Beerducate". Members of the staff will have a different topic each month. August's topic will be "Top Brewing Tools & Quality Management" and will be held on August 9th. Funkwerks - The legend of Funkwerks' beer continues to spread into new areas. Funkwerks announced yesterday that they are now found in the state of Texas statewide. Today, the taproom is open from 11am to 8pm. On Fridays 6pm and Saturdays 5pm enjoy live music along with your beer. Located at: 1900 E Lincoln Ave, Fort Collins, CO.
Intersect Brewing is getting closer to opening day. Yesterday was their first brew day as they were spending a lot of time dialing in their brew system to get everything set right. That plus brewing up a big IPA. Also, they have their first offer out. Here's the word from social media: "Are you looking for a destination brewery to call your own? Behind-the-scenes early access to our opening? Discounts on merchandise and beer? Well look no further, you guys. We are offering an annual Back Stage Pass to Intersect Brewing! New Belgium Brewing - After a 3-day hiatus, the tasting room is once again open at New Belgium. Get ready to stretch out on Thursday. New Belgium is once again hosting Yoga Thirstdays. On Thursday, August 4th from 6pm to 7pm out on the lawn, join CorePower Yoga for a free class. Stick around after the class for a free beer. Bring your own mat and water. Odell Brewing Company - Don't forget! WeldWerks Brewing Company is hosting a special beer release for #IPADay Thursday, August 4th (tomorrow), that's when they'll tap "Fruity Bits - Mango", the first iteration in their new rotating IPA series. Based on their cloudy New England-style IPA Juicy Bits, Fruity Bits Mango has added mango to give this beer an extra bit of tropical fruit character, plus the special hops also give hints of mango, papaya, pineapple and tangerine.
